This is one of their songs that's saved my life. Because Tyler knows what suicidal thoughts feel like he knows what he needs to say to get through because like I said it saved my life. Their songs that have saved my life are this 1 Kitchen sink, Lovely, and Truce.

i haven’t watched the animatic in the longest time damn.. i think that the main difference between Friend, Please and Neon Gravestones is that Gravestones is about suicide as a whole in society while Friend is focusing on the individual impact

Tyler sounds sincere because he actually is, he is actually talking with intent to everyone of us out here listening so it does come across with that feeling Like you I feel from the side of the person talking, you need to be there for that person and just listen not talk at them. From experience I’ve found if you can be a non judgmental ear the person that needs to let it out will often come to their own conclusions & solutions by just being able to unconditionally let their feelings out to someone who will just listen. This is so important.

Tyler has gotta easily be one of the greatest songwriters of this generation, his music is hauntingly beautiful

I think I should qualify that I check In almost daily where I can cause I too have contemplated but was held back by my friends reaching out and reminding me that in their eyes I had value. I had purpose and meaning to them and I would never knowingly harm them by my actions .

Their most powerful and connecting songs they have, and that's saying something.It has helped sooo many people who struggle and gives support people a dialogue when they don't know how to help.

This song is so intense man, it can be hard to listen to sometimes. It helped me through so many sleepless nights when I was in my darkest place.

I find it so selfish of a person to commit to it. But I also find it so selfless of a person to imo I yeah I might not know what goes on with them but I want to help then and be ther for them but they dont see that or they do and they shut down and quiet down. I find depression its self such a draining feeling and emotion that others can mask it so well and not know and I just want to help all the suicidal people and depressed people but I cant some times they need to help them selfs but they need that extra push or pull for there real final grasp on life where they can be them
