Maybe the 30th time I watch this and my chest hurts. I can't get over how perfect this song is for this movie. My heart is a slaughter house? So perfect for Friedrich! And the perfection of your editing alone makes me dry cry. Your timing, zoom ins.. the blurred edges, the font, the coloring and that delicious little orangy overlay gracing the picture at just the right moments Just the right amount of everything without overdoing anything but always keeping each and every single shot freaking breathtaking. THE FUCKING SCENE CHOICES. There is something wildly poetic about this I feel. The rythm of the song, how the actual words sound to the moments in the scenes I mean I don't know if I got everything in the lyrics exactly right but I think that's what makes me connect with how it actually SOUNDS more than usual. That fact that it's german makes it so special, an entirely different experience for me. You make me regret I didn't try harder when I was in german class and then letting everything fade in just 2 years 100% more than I did before (and I already did curse myself over it) This is a masterpiece. Truly fucking epic. I can't picture it getting any better than this. And I'm sorry for keep leaving comments you don't know how to respond to but I need to express how much I love you and your skills and creativity and talent and omg are you getting it yet? And you dedicated it to me. Can you believe how I fucking died? I'm so proud I think I might burst.

I've watched this vid for about 10 times and i just downloaded the movie and just turned it on. so yeah, i guess this is gonna be no good for me, but WHO CARES. German movie with german song & brilliant editing? I love this combination. As a german I know the movie and actors pretty well and the song by Eisbrecher fit perfectly to it
