I have a super sweet tooth and even I thought it was sugar overload! Maybe it's from where I got it from that put too much sweetness in the batter (plus it had light chocolate topping) or what but yeah. I still love those!!! They're great for a rare occasional treat.

Ok. I made these tonight for a simple dessert for our Labor Day cookout. They are sooooooo good!!!! I followed the directions exactly and they were perfect!!! Also, if you have left over batter, you can just pour it in the oil and make a funnel cake!!!! Great recipe!!!!

I very negligently tried these at the fair a few years back and boy did I eat my words...they are simply DELICIOUS 🤤

fun tip: chocolate sauce drizzled over them makes them a million times yummier! 😋

I made them yesterday but instead of all purpose flour I used whole wheat flour and they were delicious! Cookies taste better if you eat them hot.

We made Fried Oreos at the last restaurant we owned. Yes they are very yummy and our customers loved them.

My high school would have these at football games and they're delicious! I make them at home with pancake batter but I'll be sure to give this a try!

Use Zeppoli or Pancake batter, dip them and fry them. You can also fry chips a hoy cookies this way.

Times have changed since I grew up in S. Jersey, all I got was salt water taffy and a hotdog! That was in the early 70’s. But then after that we went to this place called the Lobster Shanty, Pt. Pleasant if I recall, made up for the hotdog!

If you make these with pancake batter try adding about a tbsp of powdered sugar to the dry mix first.

Laura, Do you serve these warm after you just fried them? Or are they good cold too? Can you oven fry these instead of frying on the stove? You use less oil with oven frying so wondering if it would work for these. I make my eggplant parm oven fried and it is so-o-o-o good, and healther too. Everyone loves it!

We have these in Texas, at some wing restaurant called Pluckers😊 served with ice cream & also fried twinkies 😁
