Loved messing with ppl as Jason or even being the counselor lasting the whole 20 mins while someone rages as Jason after me😅. A linear game huh? I deff would like it to be more like “alien isolation” than until Dawn style. Just imagine hiding underneath a desk or behind a wall as Jason rips through the door and hearing that “Ki Ki Ki Ma Ma Ma” 👍🏼😜.

But the Jason in Multiversus licensing is from New Line Cinema. He is called Jason Voorhees and his trademark is Friday the 13th. It says it in game. Also we have a Jason X skin too with the possibility of more movie skins

A "The Quarry" style friday the 13th decision based game would be Hella scary. There could be like a million different endings, with either all the counselors dead or all of them survived, depending on the choices you choose.

Jason in dead by daylight come to us.. 😂

Regarding the legal issues surrounding the actual Friday the 13th name, I noticed Multiversus DOES reference Friday the 13th specifically. If you look at any hockey masked skins (for Harley Quinn, Joker, Black Adam etc) it specifically is referred to as their Friday the 13th skin.

I don't understand why people are confused still at this point. WB/New Line own the Friday the 13th series outside of North America, they're not going to make a movie for foreign release only. They also apparently own the TITLE Friday the 13th in North America but they can not make a movie in North America without Sean and Victor. Which we can surmise are working together and are perfectly willing to let New Line make this movie. So since New Line own the name, and probably have a first right of refusal on the franchise (On Jason X documentary Cunningham said New Line had first right of refusal. It wasn't produced by them. Meaning it was a independent project that Sean produced and NL simply could of passed on thr project if they chose) it's hard for Sean and Victor to sell a movie to a studio ajd production company because they don't have foreign rights to sell and they don't have thr Friday title. So no studio is going to produce a Friday the 13th movie that doesn't have the title and they can't make money outside of North America. The TV show doesn't have this problem because no one owns the tv rights. They were never sold off, licensed or whatever. So since Sean and Victor are now partnering up, they can sell that project worldwide because they own everything that matters.

I want a game with an offline single player story. Idk how it could be pulled off unless it was like Evil Dead. Pretty much just challenges but f13 game had that. I want a cool story. Maybe survive the night or weekend. Cutscenes good graphics and budget. I don't want another 4v1 online game. Online people are toxic. They are eithe rkids or fat slobs, jobless, no social life, no love life losers who only play games. So when normal people play they kick or axx. Not a problem but to talk sxxt and just be toxic after is the problem.

Jason needs to be in dbd tho

A Freddy Krueger game where you can choose the different versions from all 9 films and also have it be semi open world where you wait for the teens to fall asleep and enter the Dream Dimension, and you preparing during daytime making traps and nightmare scenarios and locations to make their dream avatars explore and get stuck in to make them more vulnerable. And Freddy can create different monsters and nightmarish creatures as secondary enemies the “Dream warriors” have to combat, and Freddy can also himself turn into monstrous forms, and be a boss challenge if the teens are played by players and are just NPCS all the time. And depending on the version of Freddy you’re playing you have different advantages and weaknesses. Freddy from Nightmare 2 can possess people and use as conduits to make dream powers enter the real world but within the Dream world itself he’s not as powerful. If you play as Nightmare 3 Freddy, you are powerful in Dream World but your weakness is any players who are awake in the real world if they find your skeleton body can defeat you and Freddy has to take control of Skeleton form to defend it as he cannot be in more places than once and so the players in dream world will temporarily have better advantage having some time to regroup and heal and find hiding spots. If you play as New Nightmare Freddy you can occasionally kill some players who are awake as long as you enter someone else’s dream, but is even more weak in Dream World compared to Nightmare 2 Freddy, and you need to lure him into a trap like the furnace from the movie or something else and you can easily defeat him. And obviously if you play as Freddy from original Nightmare you need to have teens bring him into real world to kill him. Many possibilities.

Exactly like a quarry or telltale type with multiple choices. The same also could be for Scream. Have also two different perspectives: one where you in survivors and the other where you are the killer. A Nightmare on Elm Street interactive movie game could have 2 campaigns one where you are in control of teens investigating the mysterious deaths on elm street similar to Nancy from ANOES 1 and occasionally needing to survive going to sleep at night with them all getting trapped in the same dream in the dream world and having them make choices on how to save each others’ dream avatars and sometimes resulting in saving others and tragically losing others, and meanwhile second campaign you play as Freddy who is preparing scenarios and traps while waiting during the day in the Dream world and then at nighttime when the teens on elm street fall asleep he tries to pick them off one by one and trying to outsmart the ones who’s avatars are better at mastering their dream abilities and can also manipulate the dream world as “Dream warriors” and how to combat them and oppose each teen by making them more susceptible to fear by exposing their personal weaknesses so that way he has enough energy to harm and kill them. Scream can also have similar type game with 2 campaigns one about survivors trying to sold mystery of who’s behind the Ghostface persona while the second campaign is about the Ghostface or Ghostfaces trying to blend in with the rest the teen cast and planning their next moves.

Personal for the tv show I think the first episode should be the story of Pamala killing the counselors and her getting killed at the end and then the rest of the season takes place years later and is the story of the counselors trying to survive Jason. Just my opinion tho

If Blumhouse gets the rights to the Friday the 13th movies people shouldn't complain they had Halloween 2018 and Kills both on a budget of 10 million. Friday the 13th Part 2's budget was under 2 million Jason Takes Manhattan had a budget of 5 million and Jason Goes to Hell had a budget of 3 million. You don't need a high budget to make a film good just the right people behind it to make it great aside from entertaining us their main goal is to be profitable.

I think the biggest mistake of Slashers games is making them like Dead By Daylight I think Slashers should be more like the Until Dawn and The Quarry games think about it its perfect they always have a group of teenagers, you can play as all of them and you can make choices to add replayabilty I dont get why you wouldn't like making slasher games in the Until Dawn style Chris The Quarry shows that a slasher game would work with the Until Dawn style The Quarry had the all comp thing going on And imagine being stalked in a Halloween game Until Dawns clown killer and the killer in The Devil in Me showed they can do Michael right, or how cool Elm Street would be with all the crazy supernatural kills, or being stuck on a sweaty hot farm in Texas Chainsaw, or the wet disgusting gore and going to a different dimension in Hellraiser The traps / challenges in Until Dawn and The Devil in Me showed they could make a Saw game I would make 1 game in each slasher franchise so everyone gets a chance at a game

I'm not surprised that Fortnite won't be referencing anything F13th in their game after all that game's target audience is children. If Jason was violent in that game or implied the adult nature of the Friday the 13th franchise you'd have parents and single mothers trying to get Fortnite shutdown to protect their children.

When Blumhouse gave me the shit film that was Halloween Ends, it broke any faith or trust I had in them as a studio. Ends was the worst movie experience I’ve ever had and I haven’t forgiven Blumhouse for that yet.
