Been consulting some people and strength does not effect block durability at all. It’s just luck. Which was my suspicion. I can send u sheet on all durability stats and how it correlates to luck if u want to see it. Also the thing with aj having bugged composure is just not true. Confirmed to me by a long time aj main.

@@electric_gns i didn't say strength affected the durability of weapons in block, i said strength determines how many hits you can take before limping or dying while blocking, difference there AJ also def has bugged composure. no way her composure is 7 when she gains it so fast

For block damages what I’ve heard is it’s just 5% for weapon strength and 3 or 4 for non weapon strength. And the aj thing, idk rly. I never play aj at all. I was just talking someone who knows way too much and is an aj main and mentioned it and he said no way. So not sure now, maybe something I’ll look at later

Tbh Jenny Myers (especially with no fear build) and Victoria Sterling for me, are S-tier because they both can really troll Jason, Jenny won't ever slide off when no fear and Victoria can be improved to 8 of Stamina. Their luck makes them having Jason longer viewed on the map and attacking him is so great, with their strengh that is low they can hit him so many times before Jason being enraged. Their Stealth are decent, you can be a silent reparing woman or even more, being invisible as Janny if you build her as a stealthy 10/10 composure. So yeah, for me both of them are suoer strong in their own way with similarities but still can compete and being with a friend that plays Jenny/Victoria and you the other one may be a good strategy for reparing, being silent and trolling Jason while running around.

Having to keep track of that made the game more interesting imo. Like weapon condition,stamina,inventory,and map position(when fear was high)

The worst in my opinion would be Tiffany or Eric. Eric is better at Repair, Luck, composure, and strength. But the thing is both of the characters become useless towards the end of the game. 1. Eric has a high repair. But later on in the game when everything is repaired you don’t need it. And he has stealth and luck. So he becomes useless. 2. Tiffany has no good repair. She only has a 10/10 stealth. And once Jason is in rage, your stealth goes away. Unlike Eric with repair, you still keep the 10 points. Yet still, Tiffany can still run. Now that I’ve said that, Eric is probably better even though he is slow but his 10 points in one category aren’t stolen unlike Tiffany. Sure, Eric’s the slowest character in the game. So I’m my opinion, Tiffany could be the worst in the game. Just my opinion. And also the fact that Eric is better at everything else at Tiffany be used Speed, Stamina, and Stealth.

Interesting to see what's going to be the meta for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre game. In my opinion they missed out on a big opportunity with how stealth could be utilized in F13. Players with 8+ points in stealth should be able to climb out of windows quieter. Footstep audio be a lot quieter and screams being a lot more quiet as well.

I'd like to give my hot takes. I'm a player who had the game since the beginning btw. 1) Luck is an almost worthless stat. Limited in time until losing heavy value, bat not stunning sometimes(way to go devs) for some reason, bat clipping through Jason sometimes when he's in grab animation, the tight and unforgiving time period you have to save someone before Jason can execute and a stumble completely screws you. And it's centered around an unworthy trade system. 4-5 second stun(when the bat decides to stun) in exchange for 30-45 seconds jason enters rage quicker. If you have good stam management and never stupidly deadend yourself, you don't need to hit. Especially high mobility characters. 2) I feel you're undervaluing strength, but understandably still lower priority. Grab breaks might save you. the stun time, plus the trap break speed lets you stun and trap tank before Jason recovers, and it still has it's use after rage until the mask is off unlike luck. Strength is low priority not because it's weak, but because players pretty much never use that method. It's laughably easy to kill Jason so if you have consistent sweater girls I'd rate strength much higher. 3) Shelly is a stealth repairer with good combat ability, you have Eric, but luck is nerfed weak trash. If you can manage the 5 repair, he's litteraly a better version of lachappa. Can fix, run better, fight better, break out better and just as quiet. 4) Chad is carried by good speed. Outclassed by nessa at everything and Buggzy I prefer much more. If the Jason is a walker, speed loses value since now everyone can outjog. Chad's viability is based on Jason choice and even map choice. Small maps are very easy to manage stam.

i like this comment, some takes are good, some are a lil less but that's why you said hot takes. 1) can't count on swingthroughs and bad rng making luck useless. very highly useful stat. does so much for you, and for good reason. good stam management can only get you so far vs great j's, you will always end up having to go for a hit or window hop. 2) those extra benefits for strength are nice, they do work wonders in cases, but keep in mind this is a comp tier list, and i'm a comp player, so i always have comp in mind. comp players won't usually do that stuff, break out of a grab and eat a trap unless they are just goated and know they can pull it off. with as much damage as you can do to j and with how weak his mask is, strength's main purpose, damage, really doesn't matter in the long run because you'll demask anyways 3) Eric's low-ish luck actually isn't too bad. of course not goated, but again, you don't need a 10 in a stat for it to be perfectly fine. i can see the argument here, about shelly being better than lachappa, but lachappa is kind of a memey meta. like he can actually be useful in a game, i think at least more useful than shelly. stealth again is useless, stealth repairs are iffy but some are way better than others based off their other stats. i just hate shelly 4) chad is a top 3 counselor for speed and luck, two top 3 stats. only makes sense. yes, versing walkers lets everyone outspeed jason by jogging, but speed is important for dodging shifts, running parts to objectives, making quick saves from medium distance with melee weapons, etc. higher speed is very important in many many cases. buggzy's luck is abhorrent and that's why he's lower

@@GamePlayingGuru I've been having success using luck with the grease monkey stat on Victoria and she starts the car in like 2 seconds. That's enough to restart the car off a pocket knife. Stealth I feel has value early game in repairing before Jason can react when you know the repair item locations

@iDesireDrxco no, that is not the case. strength has no effect on stun time. only the perk heavy hitter, and if a jason has a certain weakness, will affect stun time

I'd argue that repair is the least useful stat because, with the trick of just aborting the repair repeatedly until there's an easy wheel, any counselor can repair anything reliably well as long as Jason isn't right there

Which was yet another oversight by Gun. They should've prevented the wheel check abuse by outright preventing it, or making backing out of it cost the counselor by tripping the sound always. Bam, that makes repair more useful for high repair and more painful for low repair. Likewise, preventing Jason from toggling sense would automatically make +Sense and -Sense more important and stealth/fear in general more important, likely shifting the meta slightly away from just fighting/trying to kill Jason. Yet again though, whether oversights or laziness. Some complexity was lost along development and that's only two examples with many more out there.

@@JasonLives666 I don't necessarily agree. There is a definite downside to aborting a repair: the repair takes longer, thus giving Jason more opportunity to interrupt the repair unexpectedly (if there was a failure noise, then there would be greater expectation that Jason would morph over)

you're laughing but you'd get exposed and made a fool in any game with me in it cause you don't take it seriously. you come to this channel and "laughing" at anything when the sole basis of my channel for F13 content is competitive gameplay. most of my videos are tournament matches i play in, with coaching/tier lists/guides in between. so yes, at the end of the day, if i say something is COMP in this game, that means it's COMP. i would not lie for one and for two, every game can be and is competitive. not just on an esports level. the moment you want to just solely win the match alone vs your random opponents? that's competitive. so you're competing. either way, comp is comp. it's better to educate yourself on said game and since you're here, you definitely must play it. learn and improve instead of sitting back and taking things as jokes. if you don't care, move on

AJ main, lol. You've killed me many times. She's trash, we all know. But I love goth girls so that's why I stuck with her, and when I escape it feels good because she's so bad. Now I use Deb if I play comp, she's still trash but not as bad as AJ. Great list, and very in depth explanations of the stats. On point as usual, good shit Guru.

Jenny deserves to be way higher. In solo, not the best i agree, but in a squad if you master the combat stance/hit slide/block slide with jenny, you're damn unkillable. Luck determines the stamina you recover after a hit and the stamina used for a dodge. Great fighter. It takes 20hits to break small weapons when she blocks ( 24 for chad ). As long as you have mates to heal you, you can block a door and it's ggs for J. Also don't forget she almost never trips. Slash ? if you gather weapons together it can take 200hits to break through. Grab ? you better hope a bugzy is not around. Jenny and chad are both stupid strong in the right hands, any high luck character is high tier in a squad.

@@JDees I think he's just speaking from a different perspective of trying to either kill Jason quickly or to complete the objectives as fast as possible. Arguably now because of rage the meta realistically only exists during the first half of the game. Stun doesn't exist anymore after rage unless you have a shotgun. It's pretty much all about stamina and speed after that while window hopping and juking.

yes jesus, this is mostly the case. rage buff killed the game, as much as people want to praise it, it's horrible for quality of life. the meta is fast repair, packing a car and bringing Tommy back asap, and then grabbing sweater and using kill pressure to push the remaining objectives like the cops and the other car if it isn't already started, with the kill only happening if the opportunity is presented

Hey, is Vanessa still faster than all Jasons? I just got back into the game but I swear running Jasons weren't super fast. I was in a match with a Part 2 Jason who obviously has Run but he was catching up to me while I was jogging so I had to sprint a good bit. I didn't know if this was always the case or if they chnaged it since you said characters with over 7 or more Speed should be faster than all Jasons. Oh and what do you think are the best perks for Vanessa for solo pubs? I know Medic,Thick Skinned,and Hypochondriac are the best competitively but in pubs, I use the Nerves of Steel perk because I feel like the map is super useful when trying to dodge shifts and have the general idea of where I am when being chased. I used to also use Speed Demon (I think it's called) before they gave everyone maxed out perks. I did this because I had a negative that slowed the repair speed 😂 so it was much easier to not mess up and I could escape quietly, though I would have to give up hypochondriac which is useful for trying to draw out the 20 minute timer (also forgot to add ofc Thick Skin is my last Perk). Lastly, I also wanted to know if you had any tips on kill squads? I feel like it feels impossible to kill them as you have a ton of Vanessas so theyre incredibly quick and you have a Tommy hitting you as well. Combine that with the fact that since they are in groups, they don't have to worry about getting grabbed so they run Hypo, TS, and Medic, they stock up on a TON of sprays and are constantly healing wach other while Jason just permanently loses health lol. I even saw a Kill Squad put bear traps near Jason's Home and coordinated to try to draw Jason into it for some free hits after the stun animation is over. Even blocking makes you lose health so it just seems impossible unless you're a God Tier Jason. Was wondering if you had any tips on that or if you're just screwed lol. I know a good bit of Jason tricks btw like fast knife grab, speed shifts,R3 Weapon to break down doors faster, etc so I'm not terrible but I still get whooshed by kill squads lol. Also, thanks for the video, it was very informative!

@PerfectedMalevolence vanessa is still faster than all jasons, along with tommy, chad, and buggzy. the jason you were facing must have been lagging and zipping closer towards you. they haven't changed it. medic, thick skin, and hypo is all you should run. nerves of steel is a great perk too, but if you're in a buddy system, you don't need it. if you play solo, you can make a case of giving hypo up for it. lastly, for kill squads, if you're offhost and facing them, it's almost impossible to dispatch them easily unless you're best of the best with tons of practice and even then, the delay can prove to be too much. exiting combat stance after a blocked hit to retaliate is so slow, and doing that at the wrong time could lead to another stun from another counselor. your best bet is to use your knives in this situation to chip away at them, if you can combine a slash afterwards, go for it, or when you have a chance, slash them and SHIFT away from them. you must have shift to be able to escape after your attack, whether its a knife slash, a regular slash alone, or even just a knife throw if they are still within range to hit you. not only will it protect you, but if you stay at the spot you started shift at and let them hit you while you're in it, you take no damage and break their weapons. this is time consuming, but they want their kill, and will get impatient and greedy and you'll be able to open them up enough to sneak a kill in here or there, usually on tommy or sweater themselves, and kill their chance. play smart and slow

I hate that stealth counselors need perks to be viable, but fighters, bullies, and runners don't need them. It's such a major imbalance that makes it unfun to even play stealth characters. Although, I'll always play Shelly, because his stealthy fighter play style is the most rewarding of all playstyles.

Play stealthy but run thick skinned, then 2 of either nerves of steel for juking, medic for heals, marathon to be able to run away better. Shelly with thick, medic, marathon/NOS would be better than stealth spots being used

@@garrettcross7545 Yeah, I tend to run a build like that on Shelly since he's more suited for that build, but on characters like AJ Mason I run all legendary or epic perks such as Home Body, Lightfoot, and Levelheaded. That's good enough to go 100% unsensed to even a Part 6 Jason. (Hell, you even have a miniscule chance of going unsensed to a - Sense and even neutral sense to a lesser degree, Jason in RAGE mode! Crazy, huh?) I also prioritize escaping early or at least having a failsafe early on. That's extremely important, because if late game no failsafe, no escape pretty much. I admit, characters like Vanessa can still manage to at least run out the clock if there's no such failsafe... But that's boring. I like to be moderately challenged at least. Even if it makes me throw a fit, I'd rather escape 1/30 times as Shelly than win all 30 as Vanessa. Simply because, it's more rewarding and, as you can probably tell by this ridiculously long, Outsiders 2: Dally's Revenge, looking ass text. I'm passionate about this game to an almost embarrassing degree and gaming in general, so I'm curious as to what your response is.

I used to run Adam solely before the rage update as he is the best repair counselor imo. But when the update happened Vanessa is the only counselor who is even to him imo. Dying by being ran down with a lower speed/stamina counselor gets me so mad I need speed and or stamina

The top characters I would use is Adam, Chad, and Vanessa. Mostly Vanessa or Chad because they're fast and have good stamina.

My Tier list is Chad,Vanessa,Deborah why because Chad is the best for fighting Jason and Vanessa is the best for getting away from Jason which is good for getting the sweater. And Debra will be the best for escaping strength doesn't matter if you don't have good luck I tested it.

I tested AJ's composure and it doesn't seem to be glitched. Maybe it was glitched way back when the game first released, but it isn't now. She definitely takes longer to get max fear than 5-6 composure counselors. Also AJ has a hidden "bonus" similar to Jenny's extra stealth (8.5) If you are in a hiding spot and use the hold breath mechanic, when you exhale she doesn't make a loud panting noise. That's useless to most people since hardly anyone uses hiding spots, but I think it solidifies her position as the #1 stealth/hiding character.

@@GamePlayingGuru I think it probably seems that way because the difference between composure stats is not very noticeable until you get into the 9-10 range. But maybe I need to retest it. And yeah, I get what you mean since this list is based on comp play. Everyone plays this game in different playstyles and in different circumstances, so it's hard to make a definitive tier list.

Heres mines AJ Mason: I like her because of her Stealth, I think it determines how a counselor can control their fear, her fix stat also helps me too, I recommend her too, I dont really have much to say about my favorite people because I dont really focus on stats. Kenny Ridell: I started to play him before 2023, he has straight 5's across the board, perks can help buff him up. So he's kinda a go-to if your just starting out and got a few perks! Vanessa Jones: She has a good amount of speed, her strength and durability help her fight off Jason, she can be used to fight, her repair is low which is such a let-down to a very powerful and useful character, but she also has some downfalls, first of all she's not really stealthy so hiding is no option. Fox: I like her repair, I kinda dont use her, but she is very good at fixing. Deborah Kim: Okay, her repair is very high! She is a go-to for fixing along with Eric. If you want to be the person to help repair cars and help the team escape, shes the one to go to. Tiffany: I would definitely not play as her, but her Stealth is like AJ'S, i mostly kinda fight with her and sometimes hide. But her repair is weak, the only reason people just play as her is to stare at her butt, theres really nothing to her, she can be useful for hiding or just being in the background secretly helping the group. I kinda got this off of other people rating Tiffany, but she could be a great sweater girl. Buggzy: Okay, so I dont really play as him, but in rounds of being Jason, he's pretty like a fighter counselor, he doesn't fit in with repairing or hiding, if you want to knock off jasons mask, he is your go to, he has the same downfall as Vanessa as well, even though running makes noise already, I think for these two it spreads more with the pings, so be careful of that, Jenny: All I can say for her is that, if your just starting out, maybe test play as her for a while once the servers are up fully. Thats all, my favorite one is AJ btw, EDIT: figured out it was stealth, thats my final answer so I might change it, hope im not wrong, im not really a tier person. Also these are my favs, im not doing my own tier over here, but theres many other counselors that are very useful and helpful, these are just the favorites im rating

Bro, when I tell you that I played this game from the start when it first released, I played the hell out of it, i mained Adam palomino for the longest, and only switched mains when FOX came out, I don’t even remember if I mained them because of how they looked or their stats, but I’m pretty sure I subconsciously switched to fox because of their near identical stats

The only thing Vanessa only has speed and stamina, everything else is useless because although her luck is 6/10, that doesn't do anything because her strength is horrible 4/10. Her repair is trash, her composure sucks. Overall in my opinion she is a D-.

my friend you are very flawed in thinking. a stat doesn't need to be 10 to be good. 6 luck is amazing including a 2 repair which is also pretty good only when jason isn't around of course but the skill check boxes are a good size and the ring goes slow. strength being 4 does not matter because with the amount of shotguns and flares on the map including other damage done, the mask will ultimately come off anyways. Vanessa is the #1 counselor in the game

8 repair is the easiest repair in the game and mitch stamina regen is very good early game so he covers more ground than anyone else. Also hypochondriac is never a better perk than nerves of steel comp or pub.

Saying AJ's composure is glitched means you're on of the children running around on the map like chickens trying to lose their head as quick as possible and have no idea how the game actually works. You can easily play round after round without ever being seen by Jason. Anyone who ever saw me playing with AJ got immediately jealous and asked me how I'm walking around in the woods where ever I want without ever being bothered by Jason.

Hey is there anyone that has made like an ultimate counselor guide like your ultimate Jason guides some other people have made tips videos but yeah they aren't that great also composure and strength can break you free faster from a grab so if your are on a small brige even if the j grabs you you should get out with like a fox or an Adam or a Jenny so if you like stay on like a l small area cuz you ain't got no Stam you could break free if the j doesn't have the you know on the spot kill that doesn't recuire space pretty specific but that makes me like fox even more.

While Deborah Kim may be mid She is definitely my favorite she became my main since 2018 I stared this game in 2017 but for some reason none of the counselors fit my way of playing I love being stealthy and repairing I was meant to play Deborah Also with the perks I have on her And my skill level I can solo Jason by running him around for 20 minutes if he does chase me So yeah Deborah is easily my favorite

Good tier list, I just wish you put AJ higher, maybe B tier, and here's why: Stealth is not entirely useless, especially with AJ. If you run an epic or legendary Lightfoot perk, you won't generate any noise while sprinting, which can be very good because you're gonna wanna hide from Jason when playing AJ. You will also be able to bring items to cars and the phone box the fastest without generating noise (besides Tiffany). I also recommend swapping out Thick Skinned and Medic for an epic or legendary Level Headed and Low Profile. I say this because using Thick Skinned and Medic with AJ isn't going to be that good and will only buy you a little more time against Jason before you die, especially with her poor luck, speed and stamina. It just seems like a waste of two perk slots in my opinion. She's not made for combat, nor distracting Jason. Going back to the Level Headed and Low Profile perks, these can be really good. Combined with her high composure and stealth, you won't be detected by Jason very much, especially if the Jason you're going up against has Sense -. Also, you are much more likely to not be detected because Jason will be more focused on the counselors generating noise. As with her repair stat, she can repair things very easily without alerting Jason, obviously. Although Jason trapping things will be a problem, if you are communicating with teammates with pocket knifes and the Thick Skinned perk who know what they're doing, then this wouldn't be a really big problem. Anyways those are my reasons why AJ should be put higher on the tier list. PS: I use AJ a lot in comp lobbies and she isn't that bad.

then again, this list was made with competitive play mostly in mind, the highest form of gameplay in any game. AJ in general is a mid tier pick, as there are other counselors that do what she does better, and stealth is not a deal breaker. stealth is so useless against good jason players because they'll use noise pings even if you're a high stealth by cutting power and spamming sense on and off, you will ultimately be spotted. and once that happens, your perks mean nothing and you have no protection. thick skin and medic + hypo is such a must that you cannot play against real good jason players without it: they will slash because they are grown up and realize slashing is viable, and will cut you down. AJ is not meant for running but you would not waste perk slots putting marathon on vanessa to increase her stamina, something she already has enough of. why further boost what they already excel in instead of boosting what they aren't? just because AJ isn't a runner doesn't mean you can't. learning how to run and kite with AJ or any character for that matter is crucial for more diverse play and more contribution to your team in every game

Well, you can always run and kite with AJ. In my opinion, when I play her, I just really don't see the point in that since I'm playing with six other people who are already doing that. As with stealth, I still think it's not totally useless. When I play with AJ in comp lobbies I'm hardly detected at all, since most people are playing vanessa or chad, distracting Jason. Plus, whenever Jason disables an electrical box, i just repair it again, and most of the time they don't know which one I repaired, and they aren't really focused too much on them anyway. I just think she's not that bad, just my opinion, you don't have to agree with me.

Best counselor is AJ Mason, anyone I know who preferred another one switched to AJ after I explained my gameplan. It's almost impossible to get detected if played correctly.

Nah maybe the best repair/stealth char with deb but not the best at all.i hate to say it but stealth is not that usefull(im a Kenny main since day1 and i try to be a aj main and Shelly main once. I manage to survive with them like 80% but it's not that easy with their Luck.i played them like 50h each but i choose to stick with Kenny his versatility is unmatch)anyway maybe the first 5-10min stealth can help but you can ez do without. When J have rage it's harder for him to detect noise pings(it's like u have +7 stealth on every char when rage is active,ex: Kenny can sprint without make any noise like aj with lightfoot) but of course his sense become op so it does'nt matter, stealth become useless and the problem is she have 10/35 pts in that stat

The same thing you said about composure and fear can be applied to stamina. It's on a % based regen system which is why nofear Jenny is the top tier in F13. You "lose it faster" but you also gain it back extremely quick. A single window vault is like 3/4 stamina and you never get any debuffs from fear ever. Also you should play PC, some of your rankings change quite a bit with M+Kb Comp doesn't mean anything either since outside of really niche tiny communities you're pretty much never going to be in a lobby with all sweaties who know exactly what they're doing. Stamina only increases your max, not your regen, so it really doesn't have much of a benefit at all unless you get hard tunneled. Stamina stat is actually lower down. It's more like Luck>Composure>Strength>Speed>Repair>Stamina>Stealth -- The difference in a low speed and a 10 speed while sprinting (when it counts during a shift etc) is within a 10% margin. It's only really good for running~ NoFear Jenny is king, followed by Chad then Adam/Bugsy/Vanessa then everyone else is dogsh!t with kenny being at the very bottom by a big margin. Every other survivor is below that. You may disagree but that's because you're a console peasant. Come play PC.

it's a waste, if you run tinker for example, a perk that increases the speed of the repair mini game, on a 10 repair character, the wheel already moves super super fast. making it even faster will definitely leave plenty room for a missed skillcheck, alerting jason. big no no however, there ARE some perks that have a negative which DECREASES the speed of the wheel minigame. these on a high repair character sound a lot more enticing, since they usually only have 2 skill checks per wheel. but this would also work great on a 1 repair character. because they have quite a few skill checks yes, but it goes slow for a while before being a bit too fast to hit skill checks with, therefore these perks would work great on BOTH sides

Listen, I get you maybe haven't made a stealth build, but I have made it to where I almost never show up on Jason's sense as AJ. I think if you tried out a stealth build with AJ you might place her higher. Tiffany is also good because of the 10 stealth for a stealth build PS ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COMMENT YOUR OPINION, HE WILL TREAT YOU LIKE YOU ARE STUPID FOR IT.

everyone has played stealth, AJ was mine and everyone else's main at the start. no one i know plays stealth at all anymore because it isn't viable in comp, the Jason players there will always find you. stealth is useless. you are like the 30th person to come to this video, watch it, and walk away with no knowledge because you are too stubborn maybe, to accept the fact that stealth is nothing compared to all other play styles. playing stealth is like handicapping yourself, since you're using all 3 perk slots most likely on stealth perks that you think make a difference when the jasons you play against don't even know how to activate sense or shift, so they never find you anyways. i like AJ as a character, comp wise, she is not great compared to other counselors as for never showing up on his sense, again, these public lobby jason's don't even know how to activate shift OR morph, they aren't activating sense. no amount of sense perks will keep you from showing up on sense every time either, the moment jason hits rage, it's over, but a great jason will continually flick sense on and off for a few seconds, meaning more sense usage and more of a chance to detect you the higher your fear is

@@GamePlayingGuru his downside is the fact his stats don’t go passed 5. His stats only high enough for him to get by, but it don’t make him exceptional. His luck is high enough to get 3 swings with a bat and barely start the car fast. His repair gives him 4 skill checks where most repairs gets 3. Strength and stealth doesn’t matter. There’s no way you’ll go to Kenny for anything when you have Chad Jenny Debbie or anyone with maxed stats unless he’s the last resort

@@reliefx medic, hypo, thick skin is the preferred set up nowadays your thick skin has to be 17% less damage taken or more, but NO LESS. the negative for thick skin is increased stumble chance, which is whatever however, if you want to run medic and hypo with thick skin, you have to be careful with the negatives of both of those perks. with hypo and medic, the positive of more healing doesn't really matter, in fact the importance of those perks come from their secondary ability: medic giving your sprays two uses, and hypo letting you spawn with a spray. therefore, you spawn with a 2 use spray at the start. but, the negatives for both of these perks is "more damage taken", which counts towards your thick skin. say your thick skin is 17%. your medic's negative is 0%, but your hypo's negative is 1%. 17-1 = 16% which means your thick skin is negated and useless. you have to roll versions of all 3 that don't negate each other for thick skin to be viable

it activates by itself over the course of the game. as jason, the ability bar in the top left of your screen is your rage meter, and once it fills up, you have it. takes around 11 or 12 minutes for it to build by itself over the course of the game, but the more you get stunned by weapons, guns, traps, firecrackers (not pk's), you'll gain it faster, with each hit/stun speeding the timer up by around 45 seconds
