C.J. Graham is an American entrepreneur and actor best known for portraying Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives and the music video for He's Back (The Man Behind The Mask). Graham is a fan favorite, a regular at horror conventions and has appeared in many documentaries such as The Men Behind the Mask, His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th, Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th and Friday the 13th Part 3: The Memoriam Documentary.
Thomas "Thom" Matthews is a American actor who has appeared in several horror movie hits including The Return Of The Living Dead, Mean Guns, Alien From LA and Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. In part VI, he portrayed Tommy Jarvis -- a man who killed Jason as a young boy comes back to exhume him, but accidentally revives him and needs to return him to the depths of Crystal Lake to stop the terror he unleashed. Thom also appeared in the fan film Never Hike Alone where he reprises the role of Tommy Jarvis, but this time as a paramedic who saves the main character Kyle McLeod.
Tom McLoughlin is the director of Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives and wrote the script for the Pamela Tapes for Friday the 13th: The Game.
“Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives” (stylized onscreen as Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI) is a 1986 American slasher film written and directed by Tom McLoughlin, and starring Thom Mathews, Jennifer Cooke, David Kagen, and C.J. Graham as Jason Voorhees. It is the sixth installment in the Friday the 13th film series. The film follows Voorhees who, after being accidentally resurrected, stalks another group of camp counselors. The original concept called for Tommy Jarvis, the protagonist of The Final Chapter and A New Beginning, to become the new villain, but after the poor fan reception of A New Beginning, the producers brought Jason Voorhees back as the series' antagonist. In resurrecting Jason, McLoughlin made him an explicitly supernatural force for the first time in the series. This version of Jason, an undead and more powerful superhuman, would become the standard depiction for the rest of the series. The film introduced meta humor and action film elements, including shootouts and car chases, into the series.
“Jason Lives” was the first in the series to receive some positive reception from critics since the original. In the years since its release, its self-referential humor and numerous instances of breaking the fourth wall have been praised for prefiguring Kevin Williamson's Scream series. Jason Lives is considered a fan favorite of the series, in addition to receiving positive notice from horror film historians. It grossed $19.4 million at the U.S. box office on a budget of $3 million. It is followed by Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.

Dear Thom Mathews, if you ever read this: It is AMAZING that you were included in the videogame and you have no idea, sir, of how good it feels as a fan to see you homaged on that screen, as the badass you are.

I'm so glad I came across this tonight. It makes me so happy because I grew up watching these movies as a child and back then I was so scared by them, I was a child but my Mom knew my brothers and I loved horror movies and we enjoyed being scared. Now watching this years later is a real treat. Wow, it's so awesome seeing them together again! I laughed so hard when CJ Graham shook the table, lol!! "I just hit the table and everyone in this room, including Tommy, and this thing broke, it popped right open."

Thank-you for posting this and all your fabulous videos! While I attend conventions, I often miss panels as I don't go on the right day, or for other reasons, so these videos are awesome to see! (and your production quality is fantastic!)

Ted White was the best Jason. He was brutal and tenacious. Too bad he only played Jason once. CJ Graham is second best imo, followed by Richard Brooker from Part 3. Then Kane. I'm not going to be biased towards Kane Hodder JUST because he played Jason the most, like everyone else is.

I know, not to complain but that's the one thing I hate about cellphones. Everyone's uses them all the time and don't know how to truly enjoy life without looking at their phone every second. They should be enjoying the panel, and not staring down at their phones. Pretty disappointing if you ask me. 😕

10:13 NO ONE forgets that Corey Feldman played the ORIGINAL Tommy Jarvis. John Shepard played the role in part 5. But its known that Thom Matthews is the more popular Tommy. But "forgetting" Corey played Tommy is just as presumptuous as saying people forgot Richard Brooker was the first to wear the hockey mask. Or its like saying everyone forgets about all the prior movies leading up to part 6. 6 is a fan favorite for sure, but don't discredit the other actors who lead up to this film.

Sounds like a cool idea, with an adult Tommy Jarvis and his wife (Megan or someone else if they can't get Megan) and his kids get into Jason trouble and the older Tommy has to go back and face Jason again. I've heard a rumor that there's an idea of setting it in the winter which sounds really neat, too. Damn this dispute! Miller and Cunningham, come on!
