This is a fun franchise. They were scary to me as a kid in the 80s.

It was a mainstay for 80s kids. Would have weekend sleepovers and watch all of them in a marathon.

It was a popular concept back in the late 70s-early 80s. They wanted Halloween to be the same. Audiences didn't go for it though, so they did anthology series on TV ("F-13th, the Series" & "Freddy's Nightmares").

Frankly, all of them were good, except Parts 8 & 9. "Freddy vs Jason" was its own thing and I didn't really care for that one either.
