Is there any recommended reading I should be doing? I'm super new to Buddhism and I don't even know how to start meditating:(

I went to Thailand for a meditation retreat and asked a monk there the same question. You know what he replied? "Just meditate." If you don't know how to do it, just watch a few Ajahn Brahm's videos and you'll pick it up quickly. It's simple :)

close your eyes and be. no need to do anything. no need to stop doing anything. just be. e.g. be with the breath. be aware that you are with the breath. when you notice you are no longer, congraturlations, youre meditating & noticed being aware. gently go go the breath again & continue. No bad feelings, no force needed. Accept whatever is there. even if it feels negative. be with the present moment and watch it change with every breath.
