This mod is more tragic

One of the most detailed mods I've seen, very nice playthrough

The bit where Sonic is drenched by a waterfall and becomes Ashura is genius, a great representation of how waterfalls are used to pull of the Ashura Glitch.

I hope that Illigal instructions will not die completely, that no one will forget about it. If we discard the problems with the developers, then the mod itself is really excellent. I hope the fandom will promote these tracks and the mod itself in principle. Love you, illigal instructions...

Sheesh. Illegal Instruction can't catch a break, huh? Oh well, I hope the rest of the team (who aren't the creator) are able to have a great break from all this. This was seriously some high quality stuff! On another topic, the ban on Xenophanes is something I never thought I'd see. It makes me pretty intrigued to see what new direction exe mods are gonna take from this change.

Well given how the new owner acted in regards to how her character was being used I'm not in the least bit surprised by her kneejerk response. Cuz I can guarantee it was her.

I have to say, I love the idea of Sonic becoming Ashura and the reaction is just mild discomfort. His sprites are literally just: "Oh, well this sucks. Anyways." It's perfect. And the regular Sonic sprites before he becomes Ashura are some of the best I've seen in any mod! It's such a shame this mod got cancelled.

Can we appreciate duke here? I love how duke could be anyone but they chose knuckles and the fact that duke stuck nails in his hands to represent knuckles is sick or maybe he just wanted to look cool? Nonetheless this character design is cool

Illegal instruction just can't catch a break, can it? Getting cancelled 2 times in a row is definitely a lot to take in. Regardless of that, even though it never came out as a complete build, I can tell that it has had quite the impact on the modding scene. And that's something to be proud of.

Yo, guy who made duke's effects and the 4 unreleased joke songs. I apologize if I could not perfect the vocal effects in time for the mod to come out. I was in fact working on reworking them as the whole cancellation was taking place. As for the joke songs, they will be put into a mini mod that hopefully I will start work on soon. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed the mod.

Well, it's a real shame, as always these types of mods give you a smile for everything they propose and they are always canceled either due to personal problems or something else. And without a doubt this mod has potential or had it, but it is still a lot of fun.

Duke section was so awesome and how he being very cordial to bf but still threatening was super cool. Plus Breakout and Soulless Endeavors being obvious bangers.

Charter for Color Crash and the first two sections of Meltdown here, I'm happy to see that people are enjoying what's gotten out for the mod! It's a shame that things played out the way they did, but at least my charts for this project will live on... I suppose.

My Jaw Dropped When I Seen This, It All Looks So Well Made From Start To Finish. It Is Sad That One Of The Greatest Mods Had To Be Canceled. Which Sucks Alot But At Least The Fnf Community Did Something About It And Made Thus Masterpiece.

This "Chaotix" is the glitch cutted character. The game was named "Sonic Crackers" before it was centered on Knuckles and his team and renamed "Knuckles Chaotix" So the glitched character was Sonic that's why he said "I found you Tails!"

Dang... Xenophanes got banned from Gamebanana, that can't be good

If I had a nickel for every cancelled sonic mod, I would be able to make a mod with every single one in it.

Ah yes, the three ways mods get cancelled. Getting leaked, drama between creators, or burned out crew.

I was not expecting Ashura. He is a color glitch in either Sonic 1 or 2 (I don't remember which) activated with a waterfall, hence why he is wet in the freeplay menu. He also inspired the Archie comic character Scourge.

5:15 Only those who listened carefully could hear a small reference to a song from the Spooky mod, namely the song of that red experiment (sample) that attacked if the player was idle (and also said "Take the end"). Naturally, I forgot the name of the song, but even such references that last one millisecond, even I can hear them (although not always either)

Banning Xenophanes is such a terrible idea because it will just motivate everyone to remake the classic sonic.exe mods, then GameBanana and youtube will be flooded with these sonic.exe remakes.

i dont think a mods cancelled anymore when you make an update to the first canceled build and still call it cancelled

Fun fact:when you hit the notes, the icon moves every note you hit and for long notes it just moves alot

I guess that's because most of the time, it requires you lots of random person if you want a big mod. And the more you have people the higher are the risk to get into trouble. Plus most of the people are teens or twitter user and you know where there is going

Now we must believe that "the spirits of hell" and "lord x wrath and mothers are not gonna be cancelled too because of drama or something else

Emerald Hill Kinda reminds me of Tails Gets Trolled, Listen to it then listen to Tails Get Trolled “No Villians” it’s the same thing, at certain points.

I got nothing against you CG, or these specific mod creators, but I just gotta say its a complete joke that GB has got to ban Xeno (and from what i learned also furnace) just because "low effort mods keep on featuring them" or "the creators don't want them used anymore". Unless these characters are like blatantly and obviously hateful, derogatory, racist, or any of those actual terms, there is no reason that all past mods should become lost media, and all future users become forced to make another OC or suffer the consequences. Imagine if that Strum guy suddenly went full-attack-mode and demanded all the manual blasts, your copys, and legacys of the internet be wiped, as only his original composition deserves to stand. Are you guys going to be ok with that?
