In my opinion the memories, the ending, the fate that Jon and Garfield have to kill each other, and Garfield's grieve in the changed menu makes the mod more sad than terrifying.

I think one of the scariest things I've seen from Gorefield was from a simple fan-video where the person had Jon shoot himself, but then he was transported to some weird hellish place as Gorefield said: "I told you Jon, bullets do not work. *The target does not matter.*" For some reason, that line felt so fucking raw to me.

the way he says it so casually makes it scarier, just amplifies that shooting him truly won't do much

Game brought me nostalgia, been a long time since I watched LumpyTouch's Gorefield episode. The same atmosphere is shown through the artstyle, pointing out the familiarity of that same uneasy air Jon could feel as he faced the monstrosity of which one would call a "cat" at first glance.

This mod is so well done with all the animation and references to the original creepypasta, I really like the attention to details props to the devs for making this

This is honestly one of the best Gorefield mods I have seen, its got everything to be a fantastic FNF mod. I love how the song is just a retelling of Garfield Gameboy’d, such a smart way to make a Gorefield song. Great job to everyone who worked on this.

If you listen closely in the menu sounds before the second menu with Garfield grieving,(when community game spends an hour changing the settings) you can hear the Garfield voice actor say, “I’m sorry, Jon.”

The fact that they sync nearly perfectly is ironic and makes the song better

I love how generally disturbing this mod is. Seriously, an easy A+ on this one 👍

Man, a oneshot fangame mod about Gorefield is both scary and emotion, the artstyle here is pretty good plus the abuse mix as well.

This artstyle ROCKS! I love how disturbing it looks! Also, loving the game over screen. We need more mods that don't hold back.

i like the detail of jon and garfield being drawn in different artstyles. Really does show "Garfield" is otherwordly in nature. Also I do know about Lumpy Touch. Cool dude

This is like Finale if the devs took it similar. (And yes, they didn't take it seriously. It was meant to be a joke song that accidentally slapped so hard they put it in the mod anyway.) Also, *THOSE DAMN TRANSITIONS!*

Ok got to say that so far this might be one of my new favorite little mods as of recent particularly about gorefield especially love the art and the way it looks to fit in with how gorefield looked with its style in the original videos plus the music is also still pretty good as well.

The new engine looks cool, especially in this mod. Sure hope we see this type of engine used in future mods!

That was the last thing Jon remembered. The next time Jon woke up it was to an alarm clock getting tossed off a counter. He jolted up, only to see Garfield on his dresser, sitting there with that blank yet expectant look. Jon hesitated and reached out to pet him, and Garfield let him. Purring under his touch Garfield jumped down only to be met by the hyperactive Odie darting in and barking happily. Jon wiped a tear from his eye, standing and sighing. "Right... Let me whip us up some grub. It's the least I can do for how happy you two make me." Jon said walking down stairs. Garfield stopped at the doorway to Jon's room, where he simply looked skyward and gave whatever was watching a smug yet sincerely thankful smile before bounding downstairs after the scent of Lasagna hit his nose.

Here's how Garfield turned into gorefield, Garfield was outside playing until a hostile parasite attack Garfield and instead of the parasite killing Garfield the parasite instead infected him which is why you see him in many forms.
