I have a mechanic Idea. Since there are seven phases, each phase would have you collect one chaos emerald ( would eplain why boyfriend goes super ) which would replace rings but they go by really fast and if you miss it you die, there would be a screen explaining this mechanic like indie cross mod.

I have a better idea. So let’s say over the course of Metal Sonic’s whole turn, you get the chance for one emerald. Then it repeats 6 more times but faster every time. Depending how many you have by the end of the 7th, is how easy Xenophanes can deplete your HP. So on a scale of 0, meaning you’re gonna die if you don’t FC the third part, to 7, there’s no way your HP goes down unless you miss a note.

I feel like there was a really big missed opportunity to make Metal Sonic’s background Future Stardust Speedway

Finally, some fellow Metal enjoyers. Metal Sonic's entire fanbase is suspended upon fan work and minor appearances in the Comics. The official games really are doing him no justice and that's gotta change. Adding him to colors ultimate was neat, but overall was just for fan service. Metal should at least have a decent appearance in Frontiers. He's supposed to be Sonic's big rival, but he's now treated as little more than a pawn.

@@Sp00kyBones And once shadow was introduced he was instantly liked just because he had guns he didn’t even use, eventually HE became sonic’s big rival, and metal sonic was only added to Sonic Adventure as a trial mode character with absolutely no story and no new mechanics, Sonic Adventure shouldve had Metal Sonic eventually arisen from his tube in the egg carrier, and having stages of trapping the animals in staged where you don’t collect a chaos emerald, and trying to find more ancient onyx’s in stages where you’re supposed to collect chaos emeraldsto rebuild eggman’s army and finally rule the world, and fighting the sonic team multiple times. These games really are doing metal no justice, he was such a good character in Sonic CD but then he was reduced to a trial mode character in Sonic Adventure, a cameo in ultimate colors, and a single boss in Sonic Generations.

That would make more sense, Majin sort of just hangs out with Xenophanes and the others. But Metal of course made by Eggman, who got killed by Xenophanes. So it would’ve been kind of cool if it was kind of like a “last order” type thing to Metal.

Metal Sonic’s part, in my opinion, is pretty much just an extension of Eggman’s part so I guess Metal’s part should stay at where it is in this mod.

Ok so... There are seven emeralds and seven phases. It will fits. Here how it would be. Missing chaos emerald wouldn’t make you super. You will get health drain. By xenophanes. 1:48 Below the timestamps, The yellow emerald will be there. 2:11 The white emerald will be there. It would be difficult tho since the white emerald will be almost as invisible. 4:01 The red emerald will be spawn in there. After you get red emerald. The chart will be speed. 4:30 The blue emerald will be there. Showing their speed. The blue emerald reference to sonic fur. 6:51 The purple emerald will be spawn in there. With the sonic 1 boss. 7:18 Metal sonic will give you 2 emeralds in a row. First its a cyan emerald. 7:37 Now its a green emerald. The mechanic being super will have superpower. One of them was Spirits of Hell, where occasionally you had two options, one you kept going, two got you killed. It was Eggman’s level and if you sent Metal Sonic .EXE tears his head off before spindashing into Eggman. But yeah that was a different .EXE, so the damage to Metal wouldn’t apply here because he wasn’t there in the original mod.

I really feel like Metal got shafted here, all he does is resing Xeno part 1 and a little of Robotnik's part for less than a minute and goes away, there is so much more potential, considering that its Metal Sonic AND BF is super in the last Xeno part. His sprites should have been him broken down and rusting away, with little sputters and robotic malfunctions in his animations, but holding out one of the Chaos Emeralds, not only is that more fitting for Sonic.EXE, but it gives a reason for Metal to be there and show how BF is able to go super, and a part with a motif of Stardust Speedway would have been amazing. and the voice already sounds like his voice module has been damaged, so this would be perfect

Very good idea, but one thing, one emerald sort of just powers you up instead of making you super. So maybe if he had all 7 behind him, but the energy from the emeralds wouldn’t render because of how busted up he is, it would probably make more sense.

I mean while yes, I feel Metal was underdone, it makes sense from a purely story standpoint. Metal is supposed to be like sonic but better, so singing sonic's part but faster makes sense, and the robotnik part makes sense because, well, he is A creation of Robotnik Maybe Metal could have sang both sonic parts up to that point and some of Stardust speedway to make it longer and a tad more original, but I still love the metal part we got

Getting 50 rings wouldn’t make you super. In the whole sonic game nothing can be super when you reached 50 rings. Probably the mechanic idea would have been chaos emerald.

I’ll be honest here, in my formal opinion I thought that the metal Sonic part was boring. Since it basically repeats Xenophanes’ first part of the song and eggmans part as well. It made it seem rushed or lazy in a way. As well as repetitive. But I love his animations and his sprites, those are well done
