2:25 gotta love the "Angel Island zone: act 2" leitmotif here. It fits perfectly with the scene, since it's the ost of an once peaceful land, which is now turned into a chaotic mess.. Just like sonic. Bravo to the entire mod team that worked hard on this masterpiece.

@TailsGamerX512 (Wolfy) no..? Have you ever actually listened at the theme at all 🗿 The same leitmotif is also in the encore remix of too slow from the sonic.exe mod, and that has been confirmed to be angel Island. Come on man

I like how you can tell Super Sonic's influence becomes stronger as the song goes on, as Sonic's parts become shorter and Super's parts become longer, and the fact that Sonic flashes into Super a few times at the end.

The lack of breaks in this song really help add onto that sense of how dire Sonic's situation with struggling to control Fleetway Supersonic was. This is such an awesome way to present it, and what makes it even more epic is that Jason Griffith's voice was used for Sonic too. That has to be one of my most favorite sonic voices from my childhood.

i love how depending on whos turn it is the outlining and background either has an emphasis on more cooler coloring for or more warmer coloring. as an artist it's just some neat things to pick up on

The colors can also represent Sonic's state of mind. Since Fleetway sonic appears when he is distressed or in disspair

For those who dont know, fleetway later got seperated from sonic's body and fleetway became a good person due to his memory loss.

With my experience with it it's not very clear and you can easily get objectives confused. (Like, you can't tell if you're supposed to go to an area during day or night) Also the werehog stages aren't good for a sonic game.

I agree, the song, just one character, I think this song is much better and more logical than "confronting yourself"

I love how the game over animation depicts Sonic giving in to Fleetway's influence and feeling totally ashamed by it, as if he's saying "I can't do it, I'm too weak". I kinda would love to see an alternate animation where Fleetway takes full control and says "THANK YOU SONIC, NOW LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!" voiced by Jacaris hopefully.

I really love how fleetway is sticking his tonge out. that fits him so much

I just noticed that when you lose on Phantasm, fleetway takes control of normal sonic. If you look closely at his eyes theyre just like fleetway, it shows us that hes being properly possessed. 3:56

This is such an amazing concept!

I like the fact that this is kinda accurate to fleetway's story. During this song, Sonic is probably trying to deal with the stress of knowing fleetway but it's that same stress that brings fleetway.

I love those types of mods that battle with a version of themselves, we all have an opposite version inside of us, not as a split personality but as an opposite version of what we want or want to do whatever the fear of accomplishing something, shame about something, or even anger, we have to fight to keep this version from taking over us.
