FRIDAY NIGHT FIRSTS: Acrylic Pour Painting Flick and Spin- Fluid Art

Welcome to Friday Night Firsts, the series where I search the internet for acrylic pouring techniques I have never done before and do them with no practice. In this episode, I’m trying the flick and spin technique, which I learned on Nate Bright's Art channel and Shelli Anderson's Art channel. Watch me as I attempt this technique for the first time and see how it turns out. Will I succeed or fail?
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for more Friday Night Firsts. Also, don’t forget to check out Nate and Shelli's channels for more amazing acrylic pouring videos. Thank you for watching and I’ll see you in the next one!

This one is stunning. Easy technique. Looks like an icy flower. Love the cells and movement of it. Great Job Michael😊!!

A strange technique but it worked really well. Love the finished result. Would really like to see the same colours on a black background. I bet they'd really pop. Now I have to try this. Thanks Michael.

Ooooh trying the flick and spin huh? I've only ever seen Marie-Louise do that technique, not sure if she's the one that created it. Can't wait to see you do it. I'll watch first thing in the morning.

Yeah super fun and very easy …. I don’t want to get her name wrong but some artist name Annuka like 3 years ago some artist was saying in an old video that she had created it. I will find out this might be interesting… I had watched Nate and Shelli do some … I just love this technique ❤️

Thank you August…. Yeah I was also surprised how well this came out… super easy and fun it is tough not testing anything out though …. That’s probably why I haven’t done a chain pull yet …. Think about jumping right into that.🤣

This turned out gorgeous. Loved the colors and the design it made. I did this once a while back. It was really fun. I definitely think you should get your daughter to do it. 🥰
