Friday Harbour, Innisfil

This is Friday Harbour in Innisfil, Ontario on Lake Simcoe.
Friday Harbour's Marina opens in early May. Here you can see boaters are not yet back for another season. It is late April in this video.
Justin Bieber, Drake and Sean Mendes (reportedly) have places here (we don't know that for sure).
There are 2,000 condos and hotel suites, an 18-hole championship golf course, 214 acres of forest and surrounding land and an estimated 40 plus stores. You can see the marina complex and harbour with spots for up to 1,000 boats, Eastern Canada’s largest fresh-water marina.
On the menu at the Lake Club while we were visiting: Kale Caesar Salad, grana padano, radish, spiced chickpeas, sprouts, topped with a creamy lemon dressing (and other contemporary meals) The Lake Club overlooks the Marina.
This is the Promenade - in this video, you can see glimpses of the beautiful stores and restaurants (all along the waterfront - Starbucks, Fishbone Restaurant, a pottery studio etc).
On the grounds of Friday Harbour Resort is a world-class semi-private course called the Nest which features 18 holes set along Lake Simcoe, and a 9-hole layout for an "after work" game.
Walk with us along the Pier - an architecturally-striking lakeside amphitheatre. Live music plays there on Fridays.
Thank you for watching this video of this resort, a $1.5-billion, 600-acre project on Lake Simcoe that is very interesting to take in and experience, just north of Toronto. A fun excursion is to try the pottery painting on the promenade - a place called Crock A Doodle or simply to walk the boardwalk.

Who knew? 😳 As a Southern Ontarian, I’ve of course heard the ads on the radio, but not expected such a thriving oasis so close to Toronto 🫶 Sounds like a perfect getaway or day trip 🙌 Thanks for sharing 👏👏👏

Great video. Always wondered what Friday Harbour looked like. Was not long ago the commercials were on TV and radio enticing buyers. Shops and pier look really nice. I've spent many a days on Lake Simcoe, beautiful area.

@@TributetoCanada Thank you Sweetie. I miss my Guy very much, especially with all Trudeau's and the WHO's shenanigans. We learned a lot of things together over the last 3 years that we would never have believed possible in Canada. A big HONK-OUT for all you do.
