This club is so irritating when it comes to the transfer window, signing a player with a hamstring injury sums the club up, until Levy leaves the club it will never show ambition and win nothing.

Romero is arguably our player of the season. I think he is due a pay rise and expects serious ingoings this summer, and maybe his being coy about his future is a message to the board etc ( 'Sort your s*** out or I'm out')

Don't get why folks are always giving Matt flak after these. He's not pretending there aren't problems at the club. He may lean more positive, but he's just calling it as he sees it. Matt's opinions are his own, not Stel's, not yours, not mine. What’s the point in these conversations if it's an echo chamber?

The Emiti Cabonet part is embarrassing but I love how football fans all act like they don't do this same crap too. Most football fans pretend to be experts on every player every transfer window when infact they just type the player links name into KZread for a 10 minute compilation when they first hear the links. BS clout-chasers too insecure in their ball knowledge to just admit they haven't seen that much of certain players because nobody can keep up with every player from every league in the world no matter how committed a football fan you may be, there simply isn't enough minutes in a day.

I’m not a Werner fan and I’m Levy out……but let me attempt some perspective Peresic left and wasn’t replaced until we bought in Werner as a “gap fill” If we are getting rid of Gil and Soloman and we should, then Werner is a good option for the 3rd choice with the signing of 3 further options for the forward line - Cfwd (Sesko, Toney), Winger who can play both sides (Williams, Neto, Bakyoko), 10 who can also play wide (Eze, MGW) Werner for a year then makes sense as a back up / squad fill for Europa and then in 12m he is gone and Mikey Moore steps into that space….hopefully from Jan onwards If that’s the plan it works for me and Werner becomes acceptable particularly if the other forward players we bring in don’t have PL experience which is highly likely to make this affordable they will need time to find their feet

It doesn't matter what players we get in, it all depends on Ange's team selections and in game management. Ange is a grown man and he should put up or shut up, ie, play each game to win it, regardless of philosophy. He should also play our player's according to their realistic abilities, and be prepared to drop his favourites if they are not performing. I'm fed up of all the mind reader's who keep making excuses for him. Ange needs to sort himself out, 'cause he for me is acting as if he is Levy's minder. What do you think Levy meant when he said 'Ange is a breath of fresh air', when he signed him. ??.

Whats boring is the same Werner players coming in every season since 2001 and us being nothing but a laughing stock. Whats tragic is world class players coming up through our ranks but choosing to move on to win trophies elsewhere. Whats criminal is our fanbase who accept this.

I think Werner might do well next season. Of course, he might not. But I am one of those deluded armchair supporters who isn't emotionally involved nearly as intensely as fans who give serious hard-earned cash to the Club each season. I hope Werner proves his many doubters wrong. And I am sure you do too. And here is the funny thing in my mind. The toxic 'happy clapper' content providers do not rate Werner. The best that they say is that he is a bench warmer or an improvement on Gil. Most of them blatently dont rate him, but they cant bring themselves to say it as it is. While the suposedly 'negative' broadcasters on here etc give cogent arguments as to why the signing is a continuation of a long string of past mistakes by Levy etc. Enough of my babble. I am delusional, well known for being delusional when it comes to Spurs. When it comes to the world in general, I am realist pessimist, but when it comes to spurs I am a psychotic optimist. Werner will get 20+ goals next season! Ha. I understand your realist pessimism regarding Spurs right now. I am a bit jealous of it. Because if Werner has a decent season, you will be pleasantly surprised. My delusional optimism is likely to lead to disappointment.
