any case of tablet final wt. Is greater than initial wt. It possible or not. If possible then give reason why greater final wt of tablet from initial wt of tablet

In case of tablet is hygroscopic

The only reason is if tablets are hygroscopic. If tablets grasp moisture from air then tablet weight will increase. In other cases it will be procedural error during weighing e.g. tare error etc

Following are the rationale for considering 100 rotation. 1. Mentioned in the USP chapter No. 1261 2. Practically feasible as test complete in small time duration and easy to monitor the test. 3. Considering more revolutions may cause more friability and less revolutions at lower side. 4. If we increase or decrease the revolution in proportion we need to consider acceptance criteria too.

Why standard rotation is set 100. It can be set 150 ya 50. Any one explain why set standard rotation 100. ????
