@@lfc-ty9xd no, they were like they don't feel comfortable doing videos with bigger youtubers anymore (ksi for simon, josh for freya) because they feel people will say that it's the bigger youtuber's audience not theirs. I'm telling them it's okay to make those videos because it's their audience too, doesn't matter if they came from josh or ksi. Essentially people are watching because they wanna watch them too!

Simon it seems like you are in some way a bit insecure but there is no reason to be. Ofcourse you are a friend of JJ and he maybe helped to push your career but believe me, if you were a shit contentcreator you wouldnt have almost 10 mil subs. They sub to you because they like your content. They same goes for freya, randy and talia. You lot are great in what your doing, keep up the good work!

My best advice - especially to Simon since he seems a bit unsure of his own success - is to ignore the little douche bags trying to criticize everything you do and get involved in your actual lives. At the end of the day you guys are where you are deservedly, and if anyone is taking unwarranted shots at you because of their own miserable existence, that's their problem and not yours. Do what you enjoy, what entertains the vast majority of your viewers (you can't please them all), and what makes sense, and don't worry about what some angry teenager has to say about you doing something as simple as filming with your roommate. Also Josh seems to have himself a pretty level-headed woman. gg

Nahh Simon you have so many fans for a reason. Sure people might have found you through JJ but they stayed for your content. You're a legend on KZread because of yourself and your content.

Simon among all the sidemen I first got to know you and then others including jj through you you are talented and people are in your Chanel to watch you so ye

I found Freya through my recommended channels on twitch and I liked her background stuffed animals and her vibe overall in general was so chill so I stayed watching her. Didn’t know she was Josh’s girlfriend until she was reacting at one of the Sidemen’s videos. Never will only just associate her with just her boyfriend she is awesome and she is her own person.

I don't know if I would quite say that by comparing them to actors, but as Freya pointed out, of all the ways they could legitimately flirt with other girls or cheat on their girlfriends, why do it on a video seen by millions of people? They all seem like stand-up enough guys that they wouldn't resort to something that sleazy, especially in a relationship like Josh and Freya's where they've been together for quite a while and therefore have built a lot of trust.

Wouldn’t be surprised if his behavior is more related to how uncomfortable he feels rather than how uncomfortable his gf feels.

I think something really important these guys overlook as creators is their ability to ignore comments like that. Obviously, they basically do that I know I know, but if they were streaming, for example, and they some some people in chatting asking "aren't you mad about blah bc tinder," they can just not read that chat aloud. It is quite hard to be a loud minority when you're being ignored and no one cares what you think. Same could apply to the censorship in their videos...
