Maybe if Dahlia and Esther was alive during the hollow's ressurection maybe they could have stand a chance against the hollow. Imagine, three powerful michaelson witches, plus hope that makes four of them. They can surely put up a magic battle against the hollow.

It most likely wouldn’t have made any difference. You see, it took the combined power of the Ancestors (hundreds and hundreds of dead witches) to imprison the Hollow 200 years ago. In Season 5, the combined power of all the living witches of New Orleans (which would in the hundreds to a thousand or more) + Vincent’s power + Davina’s power + Freya’s power + All of Esther’s Grimoires (basically Esther’s knowledge) + Hope’s magic were not enough to do anything to the Hollow. The Hollow was that powerful.

@@squarcircle2254 She's been growing her power tremendously for over 990 years. In truth, we never even saw the full extent of what she was capable of in the screen time she had. With THAT amount of power, she could definitely have done something against Inadu.

@@mihile4631 It was very clear that she lost all that power with the death of Dahlia because there was a massive difference in her magical ability to get things done after. We also got to see the extent of her power, given that she didn’t have the raw/innate strength to resurrect Davina, which she could do before Dahlia’s death (something Season 7 Bonnie could do with just raw/innate power). The combined power of Freya, Davina, Vincent, all the witches of New Orleans, Hope, and Esther’s Grimoires weren’t able to do anything to stop Inadu from killing Hope in Season 5. So Freya’s raw power alone wouldn’t have meant anything.

Oh please everyone, Freya learnt nothing from Dalia. After Dalia died she was weak and powerless. No spell she did was could have hold up against normal vampires example Aurora. Aurora had nothing exact special about her and Freya lost each and everytime. How exactly she is a badass?

@@imtiazmohammed8677 But Aurora’s season was when Freya got nerfed. She was no longer connected to Dahlia so no more sleeping for 100 years and augmenting all that magic. She was a regular witch that’s why during this season she constantly had to use an original to channel more magic. And for a regular witch to go against a 900+ year old vampire is pretty impressive. Also Aurora is unhinged af that’s why her brother had her sent to that place. She’s mental.
