Perversion of the real Freya.....

Freya really is the superior sister. Her magic is stronger and more versatile and all without a mirror or artefact to power her. She ruled half an entire continent for years whereas Ravennas kindoms never lasted long at all. Jumping from kingdom to kingdom and gaining power through her looks whereas Freya did it with strategy, with power and her "children"

Fun trivia: Freya can create illusions with her ice. When she conjures an ice wall, if she touches it, it will show an illusion to the looker whatever Freya wants the looker to see. Thats what she did to Eric and Jessica Chastain(forgot her character name), when she made that ice wall between Eric and Jessica, she touched the ice wall, she made an illusion that the guy killed Jessica for Eric to see, but in fact the guy didnt kill Jessica. Also, when her eyes glow, that means shes gonna conjure ice. When her eyes turn full silver, that means shes making an illusion.

Jessica's character name is Sara, wife of the Huntsman Eric. Freya made both lovers see different illusions you see. On Eric's side, he witnessed Tull murdering Sara which makes him believe that her wife died in his arms for a whole 7 years after they dumped his seemingly dead body into the river, which at the time he mourned and became a drunkard till he was recruited by Ravenna to find Snow White and kill her which eventually he became a part of Snow White's army and tracker until he's reunited with Sara who've despised him because on her side of the ice wall, her illusion was of Eric abandoning her and running away, leaving her betrayed and heartbroken.

I love often she uses the ice to create walls, like how she put up emotional walls after her kid died .

When she built that wall and broke the ground from underneath, I always have to rewatch it. Literally groundbreaking.

Must be tedious for the palace cleaners to get rid of all that melt water every time she does that. When she conjures up one of her ice walls, all they think is: "Here we go again mopping up melt water for the next few days..."

That would be nice but when Freya learned what Ravenna did she felt betrayed by the only person that she thought loved her. And killed her lover for something her sister did. Death was most likely more merciful. Though it was probably nice that she died knowing Ravenna was dead.

I always enjoyed that Freya was blantatly hypocritical. She outlaws love, and keeps herself cold because she is trying to follow her sisters advise and keep her heart safe. But she still cant help gather 'children' and loving them in a toxic motherly fashion. Even while she denys it

Emily blunt is a Great actress hands down, any role she plays is a delight to watch

Poor, poor Freya! She was devastated over her little girl's death.And it's sad seeing the empty cradle

She’s mostly likely playing a black widow (Natasha Romanoff) from a different reality. It’s also rumored Tom cruise will be playing a different Iron man (they would be from “elseworlds.”) They were both considered for those roles initially

I mean some people theorize that Snow White was Freya’s daughter since both were prophesied to grow up more beautiful than Ravenna, and form what we see Freya’s baby daddy didn’t have powers so if SW truly is Freya’s daughter than she prolly took after him more as in no powers (unless she needed something emotional to happen to unlock them like with Freya) and even having dark hair like her father. And before anyone says I know Kristen isn’t more beautiful than the actress for Ravenna but I’m sure by “fairest of them all” they meant more of inside beauty and SW was the fairest of them all when it came to inside beauty she even cried when Ravenna died in the sequel

Plot twist..the baby was not killed, but hidden away. Probably a peasant saw the revelation of the mirror to the queen and saved the baby far ahead .The baby survived and she is Snow White.

In my belief every villain has a reason of WHY they become dangerously evil. Freya's reason is just. A loss of a child sears a hole in one's heart. In my opinion, Freya is just a lost , desperate soul constantly finding a way to fill the hole in her heart. First by kidnapping children and raising them as her own, then by conquering other kingdoms. But what I don't understand is why ban love. Wouldn't saying BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CHOICES be enough? She seriously needs to see a therapist.

U need to look at it like this she had no choice all that was no option for her. She lost everything she held dear her lover and her baby the she loved the most. And out of all this it was her lover that burnt her baby to death. Add that to the fact that her sister keeps telling her love is not real and is a weakness by men to women she would just feel like love was exactly what her sister said. Her lover killed the love of her life which stopped her love and add to the fact the only person that she loved, cared for and had left her sister who raised her killed her baby and caused her lovers death. It was really based on Revana’s advice that her love with the duke wouldn’t last and was a lie that cemented her belief that she wanted no love

The story of this movie wudve been nicer if she was the unknown mother of Snow White. You know like, Ravenna just made it look like she burned Freya's baby but infact Ravenna banished the baby to another kingdom and got adopted by another monarchs. And then the movie will reveal that Snow White is the long lost daughter of Freya the Ice Queen which is the key on destroying Ravenna thats why Ravenna took away Freya's baby. It wudve been an awesome storyline.
