This is Rudy Talboys. He began riding in the summer of 2020 at JB Ski to distract his mind after a family bereavement. Wakeboarding has been a pivotal escape for Rudy and without this strong passion for the sport, things moving forward may not have been as positive in his life. He was privileged to be appointed to the team earlier this year and is really excited to compete in his first IWWF World Championships in Thailand. He was stoked to get to compete at the WWA World Championships at Liquid Leisure this summer where he came away with a gold medal. Rudy is grateful for his sponsors, Liquid Force and Follow, and the friends he rides with for pushing him to improve.
