Do you have a video that covers the YFZ450R One-Way Starter Bolt Upgrade. Supposedly they known to come lose or break off.

Im sure i go over it maybe in my last engine build i did in 2021 but i don’t have an individual one. Its a pretty easy job. You will need to drain the oil and remove the flywheel side cover. A flywheel puller is needed pop the flywheel off then you can replace the bolts and reinstall it.

Saw you raced the 4x4 class. I am tossing up either racing 4x4 class in 40+ class or YFZ450 in 40+ B. What made you stick to racing YFZ450?

I ran one race one the 4x4 at a gncc this year. It was a blast i was planning on running the full NYOA season on the 4x4 but ended up taking the year off from racing and just running a few. With the ridiculous fuel prices i could not commit to a full season. I loved the 4x4 its so much fun a whole other animal vs the yfz450r. Don’t get me wrong the sport quads are just as fun but it its own way like the 4x4. All i can say is ride a 4x4 and see what you think then make your decision. Keep in mind repairs/maintenance will be much more expensive on the 4x4.
