Autumn leaves ----> I still got the blues .....
I find that this is the track I come back to when I’m frustrated with my playing. Those days I’m wondering if I actually have been playing guitar or just faking it. This one, with its tempo and feel, I always end up slowing it down and relaxing and just playing.. results in “ oh yeah, these techniques are my strengths, these need more work.” And I go practice what I need to and get back on track. So beautiful track as is, but has come to be my “reset button” when I’m burned out and/or frustrated.

Also seems to be the only track I jam to repeatedly without switching up effects. After a few different times, locked on to just American Performer Strat, 5th position, Keeley Aria with both drive and compressor active and straight into the HRD with light gain and light reverb. This song makes me the most basic guitarist ever, and for some reason, I love that. Think it goes along with the “reset when frustrated” thing. Anyways just saying all this in case someone is feeling burned out or frustrated. Sometimes just going basic on your rig and playing a familiar, soothing track works for me, might work for you… might not, but hey, try it, you might like it.

Dude, you're freakin killing me. These tracks are so good I can't put my guitar down. The smoothness, the chord progressions and subtle dynamics are just what the doctor ordered.

@@TheHappyFallen yes, it is a cycle of 5th in Gm starting from the 4th degree. however, from Ebmaj79VI degree) to Am7b5 ( II degree ) its a diminished 5th interval
