The best way to tell, When Will improvises a line, he speaks a little lower. Possibly waiting for the director to cut him off. They didn't this time! lol. One of best improvised moments on the show.

I think it would be a bit funnier if he said both of those like 1 and 2. First would be 1 where he says his improvised line. Then 2 would have the line from the script. It'd be the best of both options, in my opinion. Good fun fact, though. Thanks. Edit: Okay, never mind that. It was in the scene. Good improvising from Will Smith. And thanks again for the fun fact.

One Does Not Simply Insult Uncle Shredder's Mother

You've gotta hand it to Dr Hoover. Not many people would insult an already enraged Uncle Phil's mama.

The great thing about Fresh Prince was that though Will was the central character it was filled with an AMAZING ensemble. Everyone from The Bankses, to Geoffrey, Jazz, Trevor etc. were GOLD. Even though I prefer the first Aunt Viv big time over the second one, even Daphne Maxwell Reid held her own at times and imo the show didn't suffer like you'd think it would've. Such magical casting is what made this show such a huge crossover hit.

One of my favorite episodes. "Picture Mike Tyson in a training bra!" 😂

That actor that got hit by Uncle Phil is John Wesley, he had a small role in Melrose place during season 6, he also appeared in Laurence film Always Outnumbered and Stallones Stop or my mom will shoot, he passed away September 2019.
