People that still have doubts regarding his potential and current skills, should watch his past two performances against Peru and France. He made his debut against Peru and thanks to his excellent performance, the Dutch won that game. I think this game was a confirmation for Koeman to put him in his starting eleven against France. He didn't disappoint, since he was one of the best players on the Dutch side, along with de Ligt. On the pitch you could see that the likes of Pogba and Kante had respect for him. He proved his worth and gave our Dutchies hope for better times, since he is one of the few players that dares to takes risks in his play and plays the ball forward, not backwards. Of course, there is no guarantee that he will be a top player (due to unexpected circumstances like injuries, etc), but you can't deny the fact that he's got what it takes and he proves it game after game again. Especially since the start of this season he has been exceptional.

Backward pass and sideways meant to maintain possesion of the and make space. Sideways, it will pull the opponent full back to the wing area if the defence org bad it'll create space between fb and cb. Backward, meant to forces opponent defensive line further away from the box if their opponent stupid they will throw too many men forward.

Donovan Mišolevitsch didn't know you have to be a kid to like playing with toys. But anyways, I haven't played with them for years, and don't intend to in the future.

I find it very special that he always can find the best spot to pass the ball or to dribble so easily even when there are 11 opponent players trying to block all the angles.

A lot of great young talent we have at Ajax .. a lot of players will come through to play for the first team of Ajax and The Netherlands team in a couple of years .. especially Naci Unuvar .. this kid is unbelievable talented! He is 15 but already is playing for Ajax U17

For such a smooth player, he can also defend. What impresses me the most is his long passes. That thing is beautiful to watch. It is pin point accurate with the right weight and pace. You can’t even mis-control it if you try

Normaly our Ajax talents, came from our academy, But Frenkie Just joined Ajax 3 years ago, so its even more impressive that he surpassed all the other talents who have played at Ajax from age 6

We need to get a double swoop for both De Ligt and De Jong for next year or buy get an agreement this year for them to come next year. Pique will be 32 and De Ligt will be the perfect replacement with Marlon as his backup. Busquets will be 31 and will be heavily rotated.

Barca can't afford to buy them both, the talent-robbing days are over. If Barca wants them both they will have to pay serious money and I mean CR7 kinda money. Normally Barca doesn't pay those amounts for young players so no double swoop for you.

I like the way he plays and for any midfielder that age and has the confidence to shoot from distance is a bonus. Want a player like him at old Trafford along side his compatriot de ligt in defence

Frenkie doesn't use things like flopping or diving (like Neymar), that's rare nowadays. He's just amazing!

Know what is the best skill of Frenkie? He always looks forward. Almost never passes backwards, but always looking forward. He is exeptional good👌🏼

His mindset is so attacking yet so defensive at the same time, very skilful player. Would love to have him at City

He reminds me of Michael Laudrup, maybe not as skilful (yet)...but his technique when striking the ball, especially when passing over a long distance, is class. Along with his vision, short passing and movement off the ball, and all the rest. He is no doubt going to be a big player.

He loves Barcelona and hates Real Madrid .. i think there is already a deal that if Barcelona wants him next year he will go there .. Thank god i can see him one more year in Amsterdam. We are playing Champions League and i am sure we will qualify for knock out stage and hopefully we can play against Barcelona then. We have really good players this year with De Jong, De Ligt, Ziyech and Neres!

Wonder, why there's still so few players who actually own the same skillset. He's very smart in his moves, very efficient and secure but still nothing mindblowing for me.

I fall in love with this kid in after 2 minutes. But it's Eredivisie, slow & least aggressive league in top flight Europe. He will not have time to flush the ball around in EPL for example.
