I made a reflection French is a language where you can express emotions, make everything “very dramatic”and also many songs in French were written to express emotions and not only about the music but it’s also about lyrics. In many French songs the lyrics means a lot and that’s why when you watch The Voice france you will see that many performances the singers give a lot emotionally and it’s very acting like. It’s not only rhythmical it’s not only the music that make you dance or a great voice but it’s also about the lyrics of the song and the emotion they put in it and it is very unique and this is why the voice france is one of the best the voice show in the word

The French language is very easy to play with (see papaoutai) but has great poetic qualities. That allowed great lyricists to produce incredible songs such as Je suis malade or comme d'habitude.

@@Tsahalal I am a french native speaker. but I speak 4 other languages. they all have their own specifics. I wouldn't say they are all easy to play with. Korean for example is great for creating rhymes, english has an incredibly rich vocabulary. I have a masters in english literature. English poetry has its own qualities. But I am yet to find a poem written in english that moves me as much as some of the french ones like "le dormeur du val". Maybe it's because I am a native french speaker and it hits me more. We would all be guilty of that.

La néerlandaise est probablement francophone, elle a un nom de famille francophone. Famille probablement bilingue. Son français est absolument impeccable.

Alors tu as en partie raison, le français est une langue particulièrement difficile au niveau de la grammaire et de la conjugaison oui.. mais pour apprendre un texte par coeur comme celui d'une chanson, il n'y a pas besoin de connaitre la grammaire ou la conjugaison donc ce n'est pas plus dur que pour une autre langue

Mon dieu "voyage voyage" m'a donné tellement de frissons ! Le français est tellement difficile à parler mais aussi à chanter, ils sont tous et toutes très talentueux ! En tant que française je me sens honorée qu'ils aient choisi de chanter nos belles chansons

Well, for half the contestant, french was most likely their first language, but some of them did have accents which comes from trying to eunciate words in a foreign language. 3rd, 4th,10th and last were 100% french born, 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th might, very little accent which could be from bilingual with french being 2nd language. So... all in all only 1st, 2nd and 7th probably don't speak french at all.

You're right that a lot of them are French speaking (probably native in most cases) although you missed the 5th one which is obviously a native. However I can't say that I agree with how you categorize the others. For me George and Cynthia are the only "interesting" ones in that I can tell they either speak quite good French as a second language or they have put a lot of work into singing this specific song. All the other ones to me are not good enough and it takes me out of the song because I can't believe they're understanding what they're singing. PS: Tu penses vraiment que la 6ème parle mieux français que la première ? Je sais pas ce que t'as fumé mais fait tourner parce que ça a l'air d'être du lourd

*chante mieux en français serait plus précis parce que comme je disais, un artiste qui étudie beaucoup une chanson peut quasiment supprimer son accent (ça se voit souvent dans l'opéra notamment) sans pour autant parler la langue

Celui qui chantait *Papaoutai* de Stromae chante très bien. Selon moi, il a dû vivre en France ou tout au moins il a étudié le français en France car sa prononciation est presque parfaite ou peut être qu'il l'a appris dans un lycée français dans son pays!

Je vous suis totalement..( Not being French at all.) Not only the language is difficult..but the "pronouncing" of "French" as extra! Bien de voir que le français a un importance autours du monde: Russie, Chine, Amérique.. n'importe! Une "langages" plain d'histoire! Comme Edith Piaf, Gainsbourg, Jacques Brel, Gilbert 10.000 volt..etc.. (Sœurs sourire, Jean Gabin, Bourville..) Comme en France: Le "vin" a l'importance dans les années récolter..et puis..donnant le temps a ce mettre en place dans le temps, a le savoir goûter a "point"! Nice performances for all also.. Trying "french" in what ever country, not even being french at al! ! Respect!

La femme chantant "formidable" m'a donné des frissons, elle a si bien chanté ! Nous pouvons lire les émotions sur son visage et à travers sa voix. Ils ont vraiment tous étaient superbe avec de belles chansons et de très belles voix !

Katell Chevallier est une franco-hollandaise, ça explique pourquoi elle a chante formidable sans accent. Du coup, pour elle, on ne peut pas dire qu'elle soit étrangère car sa langue maternelle est le français

Honnêtement, l'interprétation de "Papaoutai" et de "Si j'étais là" par les chanteurs allemands étaient époustouflantes, à verser ma larme, le russe avec son interprétation de "Voyage Voyage" est assez plaisante et marrante je trouve.

Parler et écrire français quand on est pas né français est sûrement la chose la plus difficile à faire. Car la langue française est très complexe à écrire et à parler et elle est en perpétuelle évolution avec des tas de strates : langage soutenu, langage châtié, langage de la rue verlan, expressions anciennes et du moment, langage écrit, vieux français, patois... Je pense sincèrement que pour un étranger c'est impossible de maîtriser les milliers de milliers de nuances de la langue française donc je suis toujours surpris et émus de voir des non francophones qui arrive presque à se rapprocher de de cette maîtrise. Parler le français sans accent c'est difficile, écrire sans faute quasiment impossible pour un étranger.

C'est la plus difficile à écrire avec peut-être le chinois, mais c'est pas la plus difficile à l'oral, loin de là. L'anglais est bien + dur à parler.

Nr 3 is a french singer, singing in "the voice germany", Alexandre Heitz is from Ingwiller, east of France, Alsace, near Germany... that's why his french is so ..... perfect ! :-)

As someone whose first language is French, I'm especially impressed by their pronunciation. Except for the second girl, I had no difficulties understanding them (I don't blame her though, this song is way harder than it looks). The last one was my favourite, Brel is an amazing singer with amazing texts

Nah… Je suis malade” was a poor attempt at copying Fabian’s singing style. Doubt she even knew what she was singing about. But thx for trying. The other singers, some of whom clearly don’t speak a word of French but get the song’s meaning, sang them their own way, w/ their own feelings. Ça, s’a vaut quel que chose.

C'est excellent de voir les autres pays chanter des chansons françaises. Les arrangements, leur accent, ca donne trop bien. C'est aussi de se rendre compte qu'au-delà des frontières, la musique n'a pas de barrière et que ce sont les émotions qu'elle nous procure qui comptent. Même si on ne comprend pas les paroles, l'interprétation suffit à ressentir des choses.

Je suis persuadé que la moitié est francophones: il y a des "professionnels" de The Voice qui ont participé dans bcp de pays.

J'aime bien écouter les chansons françaises avec un accent c'est super cool et ils chantent trop bien !! "LOLITA" version is so wow !

De plus si ce n’était que pour l’orthographe tu aurais pu écrire « bouche bée* » mais non il a fallu que tu en rajoutes une couche avec ton explication, ce qui n’a servi à rien puisque je pense que si cette personne a utilisé ce terme elle en connaissait déjà sa signification.

@@No-do3ke je voulais juste montrer pourquoi c'était bien en deux mots, qu'il y avait le nom "bouche" et un adjectif "bé" qu'on n'utilise plus trop et dont le sens peut échapper.

@@---zx9zf I'm french, Most of them aren't. But well the french language is hard. It was always meant for aristocracy and refined culture. All the Aristocracy in Europe for centuries mainly spoke French and mostly read literature in French. Even the Prussian King said he only used the prussian language for his horses and some men; he laughed when people tried to make books with that language instead of French, which was hegemonic as France was the most powerful country in the world for a few centuries...

C'est surtout très complexe, le français est une langue qui a très peu de sons en commun avec les autres langues, et en général des mots assez longs et pour certains, complexes à prononcer quand on ne parle pas français. De plus le français est considéré comme une belle langue, donc apprécié aussi

Accessoirement, il y a aussi des chansons françaises magnifiques. Certaines donnent la chair de poules. Surtout si elles sont bien interprétées. Le français n’est pas du tout valorisé en France … mais notre langue est belle.

Le russe a certes un accent assez fort mais justement ça apporte un charme à la chanson, très belle voix, bravo !

Il a surtout fait une vraie reprise comme je les aime : la même chanson, mais interprétée autrement. Il s'est vraiment approprié le tube de Desirless, alors que les autres candidats ont plutôt fait des copies, de qualité certes, mais qui manquent un peu de personnalité.

J'aime les chansons en français. Je vis en Pologne et ils sont très populaires ici. pas seulement des chansons classiques comme celles d'Edith Piaf ou de Joe Dassin, mais aussi des chansons françaises de Céline Dion, Zaz et bien d'autres. la langue française est idéale pour chanter.

@@pez.9u Le coté "fade" du Français vient sûrement de l'absence d'accent tonique dans notre langue. Ca donne un coté un peu "plat" au niveau sonore. Par contre cela peu se transformer en "avantage" dans les chansons ou les mots peuvent être accentués dans tout les sens :) .

The Swedish royal family which exists now is descendant from a French officer from Napoleon's revolutionary army called Bernadotte, who also reigned Norway for a while, as Karl Johan. It's even a myth that he had tattooed on his body "Death to Kings" or "Long live the republic". This story is probably not true and probably stems from some theatre play from the 19th century. There are also links with this Bernadotte or Karl Johan to today's Danish, Belgian and Luxembourgish royal families. In fact all these families are related with each other of course. 🙂

5:35 c'est un français, en Allemagne.

L'Allemand qui chante Papaoutai, en plus de divinement bien chanter, a une excellente maîtrise de l'accent français et de la prononciation en français, au point que je ne saurais affirmer s'il est français ou non... Pour certains détails je dirais quand même qu'il ne l'est pas mais c'est bluffant ! Ces Allemands sont toujours très forts dans la maîtrise des langues étrangères ! 18:35 Une petite pensée à tous ceux qui ne comprennent pas le français et qui ont du sentir qu'ils se faisaient fâcher sans savoir pourquoi 🤣

Bravo to all of these contenders. Speaking in French is already a tough job, but singing French songs is a challenge. Mastering the French pronunciation may be very difficult depending on your native language (e.g. Japanese people can have a hard time adjusting to our sounds). Bien joué ! Well done! Heel goed! Wow "La vie en rose" m'a donné des frissons ! Tellement bien interprété, comme toute les autres chansons d'ailleurs !

Toujours fière d'entendre des chansons d'artistes aux origines belges, ces textes sont si poignants et beaux. Respect aux talents qui les ont réinterprété.

Katell Chevalier is absolutely amazing, Jacques Brel is not easy to sing. And George Philippart ! Mesmerizing. And the one singing Voyage Voyage had me on the edge of my seat !

Hello The two singers have a surname of French origin. Perhaps this can explain it. The French language should not be completely unknown to them.

Waouw comme c'est émouvant d'entendre tous ces étrangers avec leur bel accent chanter merveilleusement bien notre si belle langue. Je suis belge, francophone et je trouve formidable que notre langue se fasse connaître partout à travers le monde. J'adore toutes ces superbes interprétations!!!🥰😍🤩👋👋

Le truc de ouf, c'est qu'en plus de chanter dans une langue qui n'est pas la leur, ils chantent TOUS bien. C'est vraiment très très fort, et surtout touchant pour tous les francophones :)

Katell Chevalier's version of Formidable made me tear up. She has such a strong delivery. She made me feel every word. I never heard that song with so much passion. La version de Formidable par Katell Chevalier m'a donné les larmes aux yeux. Il y a tellement de puissance dans sa performance. Elle m'a fait ressentir chaque mot. Je n'avais jamais entendu cette chanson avec tant de passion.

Cette version de la chanson est bien de lara Fabian. C’est une interprétation parfaitement collé d’un de ses passages en Russie. Lara Fabian on aime ou pas, comme n’importe quelle musique ou timbre de voix, mais c’est une des meilleurs techniciennes de son époque. Et ça n’importe quel professionnel peut l’attester. C’est une vraie manie chez les gens de dénigrer une chose qu’ils n’aiment pas.

De belles interprétations! surtout la prestation de la chanteuse australienne, quasiment aveugle, chantant "la vie en rose" ... Afin de remettre un cadre historique, si la langue Française est si appréciée à l'étranger, c'est avant tout parce que jusqu'en 1980, le français était la langue officielle utilisée en diplomatie,et ce, depuis 2 siècles, (ce qui a fait que les classes aisées et les voyageurs apprenaient le français en seconde langue); avant d'être remplacée par la langue officielle du commerce (l'anglais).

Celle qui chante Lolita est juste Exceptionnelle. Son potentiel est juste une goutte d'Or..❤ Si elle était française elle mettrait au garde à vous Pomme et toutes les autres. 🎉🎉
