As for the anti-racism, religious plurality (coexistence of multiple religions), equal rights, respect, rejection of class, caring for the most vulnerable in our society (poor and the needy) etc are all Islamic values which overlap with liberal values. In that regard, Islam is more open and liberal than most religions but that doesn't mean it doesn't have conservative values either. Things like privacy, modesty, preservation of one's culture etc are all just as much part of Islam as they are of conservatism.

Having visited more than 50 countries, I have never experienced racism as acutely and bluntly as in France. France has never had to really come to terms with its brutal colonial past, a fact which is demonstrated by Macron's refusal to clearly apologize for colonialism in West Africa, North Africa and elsewhere. Macron is the posterchild of French arrogance, entitlement and delusions of superiority; he recently screamed about how no racist monuments would be removed, and somehow doesn't think it's racist or intrusive to tell Muslim women what they can't wear. France is a country that just a couple months ago sent back the skulls of anti-colonial fighters to Algeria which had been on display in Paris - truly backwards and vile! My thoughts and solidarity to all the black, Arab and other racialized folks who have to deal with routine French racism.

But Macron is investing lot on education, France provide 2500 Euro per month for post doctoral and 1500 Euro for Doctoral students while Turkey pays only 300 Euro to PhD students and 400 Euro to Post doctoral students and that is why France is developed country while Turkey is not because Erdogan only converting Museum into mosque but no educational funding.
