In my childhood I ate this every Sunday by my grandma she did the same recipe but instead of lamb she uses chicken or beef. I like the soup on cold days in the winter . It’s just a perfect recipe.

Looks absolutely delicious. My mom made a version of that with beef weekly. Root vegetables with beef cooked low and slow for hours. Pan of hot cornbread with fresh butter. Miss those days, but thank you for the wonderful memory.

It's a shame what we've sacrificed in the guise of convenience. I would much rather live a life like this than live in a 1 bedroom apartment surrounded by so many people, no land to grow produce or raise animals but instead have to buy tastless GMO meats fruits and veggies(or pay extra for "organic")
