FRENCH OMBRÉ TUTORIAL | DO's & DON'Ts TO THE PERFECT FADE

French Ombré | DO’S AND DON’TS
French Ombré
Nude overlay with Ombré
What you will need: BIO SCULPTURE PRODUCTS
White High Pigment (HP) gel
Pink Paste
x2 Ombré sponges
Sapphire tool & Vitamine Dose
Reasons for doing a French Ombré:
Shows very little to no regrowth
Gives a natural, healthy look
Very popular among brides
Why Dry Ombré over Wet Ombré?
Less product wastage
Less product is needed to create an Ombré on a nail
Less product is absorbed by the sponge
Much faster proses
Finer fade
DO’s:
Perfect base coat application; no bumps on the nail
Always wipe your base coat before starting an Ombré overlay
Sponge on very little product at a time using very light pressure
Fade from White - Pink - Nothing; from the free-edge to the cuticle
DON’Ts:
Uneven base coat
Never do an Ombré on a buffed, filed or sticky base coat
Do not use hard pressure when sponging on your HP
Use old sponges
Use hard brush pressure when sealing in your Ombré

I have sponges but they absorb all the polish 😢 how can I get them to work ? Will it work on regular polish ? Or just uv one ?

  • @nadiastroh2379

Regular nail polish or gel will absorb into the sponge, so you’ll need a high pigment gel or stamping gel for the sponges to work effortlessly. These gels cure with an LED unit

Do you use a high pigment white? What brand? I can't seem to get a building effect - takes MANY layers to get any effect. My white gel is solid if painted on but not with the sponge. Thanks.
