FRENCH MRE 2015 Ostrich in cranberry sauce
Merry Christmas happy holidays to all viewers!!!
Tonight we dive straight into one of the best rations ever in my book. I have had the privilege and honour to review this bad boy and it has been a pleasure!!
Breakfast was an absolute hit and with the muesli filling me up along with the pate and biscuits I had to wait a couple of hours for lunch.
Lunch we had those potatoes with tuna. Which was delicious and hearty and healthy for us. The pink peppermint looking commando bar was a nice treat.
Dinner we had the main course the big deal for dinner, it was the ostrich in cranberry sauce. It was super duper freaky tender and the sauce was sweet and amazingly complementary with the meat!! The cheese was creamy, the chocolate and nougat was spectacular and so was this ration. This was a 10/10 for me and i dont think this ration will get topped anytime soon!!

You can track down ostritch steak if you search around. Its very lean and quite different to anything else, but certainly nice!
That is one main that has eluded me Ken. Glad you got one. French rations are cool, although I am not fond of the nougat bar smell, LOL. I enjoy all other components in the RCIR'S. Your meal looked awesome. I am glad you enjoyed most of the meal, and had some fun with it. Peace from Ky. , John. P.S. , I love that cheese, LOL.

Great review Nation! That apricot jam is my favorite jam. The isotonic drinks are weird. That citrus mint is odd. Loved this review buddy!!

Got this awhile back from Mre mountain They discontinued this menu unfortunately 2016 :(

It looks like you opened the cardboard box from the end. I've never seen that opening style before with RCIR. However, it can be a more convenient solution than the traditional style if you want to keep something in the box for later use.

You know what? I was shocked aswell. Because like you prolly know those things go rancid after couple years, abd when they go rancid they go RANCID 😭
An advice from a French pastry chef, when a brown chocolate turns white on the surface it turns bad and goes rancid. Your MRE may have been old or poorly conditioned. But I'm happy to see you liked most of the food.

I'll just show the generic 'soup' side of this packaging and never will I ever turn it over to show the other side that says WHAT THE FUCK THE SOUP FLAVOR IS. And everyone knows you drink the soup before eating the main.
You have to consider those are only industrial products.
