Louis IX was indeed a faithful Christian hero among men and very humble before Holy God and those who served the Lord. Do not forget that his mother was a great & holy Spaniard: Blanche of Castille. She represented the faith that ultimately reclaimed Spain for Christ - after hundreds of years of pagan occupation. Are you aware that Martin Luther was an emotionally & mentally unbalanced man who should NEVER have entered religious life?...😢 Once he went rogue with power, he actually persecuted (and even killed) HIS OWN FOLLOWERS if they did not keep up with all of his changing ideas....
