Jesus Christ. This entire video gave me a head ache and I'm not even taking French. Just sounds like one of those dreams where it doesn't make sense at all. I'm glad I chose Spanish classes instead of a headache of a language. Love this video and can't wait for more!

Wait until you learn about french conjugation, there are like a dozen forms of conjugation for every english one, and also a million verbs which have their own conjugations.

um its better than spanish conjugations- spanish has over 21 tenses meanwhile french only has ~10

plus all french conjugations sound relatively the exact same with 1 or 2 exceptions, unlike the other latin languages so its really not that big of a hastle

as a french person, i have to say some of the things are wrong like the "et"s in the numbers after 70, but i do agree this language is horrible

As a french native speaker. English is worse in terms of grammatical rules and spelling. French is bad but English is worse. So yeah j'aime ma langue, la langue de Molière.

There have been studies on this and french has worse writing than english, but they are the second and worst among europian languages and are much closer to each other than any other. Good ortographies dont have the consept of "spelling", you just write how you speak in the alphabet youre given.

Dont know about the rest of canada but in Quebec we are basically all bilingual since french and English classes are mandatory but the french we learn is the same as in every french speaking country aka 'Proper french' which does not include slangs and is the only grammatically correct way to write

English pronunciation is more horrible than French (there are like 9 pronounciations for ough). I had friends who are canadian who learn french (not native), same experience.
