The “wallet”, that brings me back to the old days and I’m only 28. When we got proper internet here and started printing boarding cards off line, my mom still would go and double check with the airline staff anyway because she it “didn’t feel right”.

LOL!! I actually remember the good old days (10 years ago) when you really could bring whatever and however much luggage you wanted on board. Sigh.... :)

It is a total crime that this sketch was left out of their complete series boxset released last year.

Man, this is classic. I am a lot like this when I pack. I have to be ruthless on my next trip. Only one tumble dryer ;) Also they never mentioned toothbrushes.... yuck!

Technically vacation is more correct if I say so myself. Vacation means "to vacate" as in go away from the place where you are now. The word Holiday comes from "Holy Day" which would be a day you take off work and go visit family etc. which is what you Americans use it to mean. in the UK we just use it for anytime you get off work to do anything, hence "summer holiday".

My holiday preparations are almost completely the opposite of this. Very short mental list, written in invisible ink. I am so bad sometimes that the last time I drove from Florida to Pennsylvania I didn't even take a jacket with me, and it was early fall.

Actually bin bag is pretty common in Canada, too. It depends on the Canadian. Lol. I say bin instead of garbage. I like the 'b' sounds together. x

They sound like my mum going on holiday, she says every year thats shes taking barely anything with her and ends up bringing a ton.

Good point, I noticed the list got a bit interrupted between categories. They only mention make up in the toiletries section but then mention shampoo and conditioner at the end after the beach stuff.

it's not on a dvd...that i know of. The dvds are compilations of each season and they have the specials as extras. Its so unfortunate bc each episode was 30 mins (tech. about 25) and each dvd is at most about 1:30 so a lot of good stuff is cut. Luckily u can find a lot of good cut stuff on here (youtube). A member that has a lot of good f+s stuff is wwjend. hhahah hope that helped.

Holiday refers to an actual holiday, such as Christmas, Easter, etc. Vacation would be a time off from work or school that is given for relaxation, or just time off. So, Holiday and Vacation.

Are we Americans the only ones who call it vacation instead of holiday?
