i actually go surgical with the dedoming and scrape off every last shard, gently, off the phosphor. it's worth it.

I expected to click the link and see twice the price of what they’re actually asking for it. Benchmade just released a production Bailout with titanium scales for $600. With that in mind, I’m pretty impressed at the price they’re selling this thing.

0.5 to 1 lumens is perfect for moonlight. Moonlight is the mode I use the most so 3 + is way too much for me. Yes it makes a huge difference!

This is an awesome light deserves a more extensive review .. Design ,ergonomics and beam top notch - all things considered punches well above other custom lights at this price point

Yes, this was a quickie. I’ll think about making a long form review some day, but it seems like a low priority only because Benjamin is sold out most of the time. 👍

Honestly, I debated doing one, and then thought it was better to not. Here's why: if you are qualified to do it, you likely don't need my video, if you're a complete novice to swapping/modding lights, this isn't one I'd attempt. It's more complicated that most. Just ordered my Synergy 3. One day im hoping to get a Cool Fall. Hopefully they are still making them when i get around to affording one.

What wld u call this style of flashlight??? I want something that's this style or form factor but without a $400 price tag. Is there anything out there I cld check out???

Imagine what FreLux Synergy 5 will be like! haha

They sure are cool looking but I just couldn't drop that cash on it.

I’ve gotten a lot more tolerant of what I used to consider ridiculously expensive EDC products… but WHOA. When I clicked on the link I realized there will never be one of these in my pocket.

I remember messaging him and he was saying that he will make a “budget” version without the hinges that will be cheaper.

Never picked up a Synergy, my FML has been a great work light though. The color doesn't matter so much to me.

I hope ver.4 continue hinges battery change system. Really good idea.

Synergy 1 is awesome, I have the Nichia version and it was like $125 when I bought it from Frelux years ago

For 400 bucks there’s no way I would buy one of these and take it apart. First of all because I’ve never done such a thing and I’d be afraid to ruin it but I know there’s a lot of experience here so for him it’s no problem. I would just hope if I paid $400 for a flashlight it would be perfector at least almost perfect

I'm not impressed with this flashlight at all. The shape is completely unattractive, I expect a flashlight to be shaped slim.
