It's not a good thing because it means the faster they have to put him down so we'll probably only get a movie not an arc again

I think you could explain cooler training for so long by saying he was training to kill beerus, maybe he had an interaction with beerus or saw how beerus was powerful enough to make even his father and brother terrified so cooler decided to train for hundreds of years in the time chamber

That would be cool if Cooler was Friezas master that would be an interesting way to bring him into the story.

A potential back story to Cooler is that he was far stronger than Frieza and lost any ambition to take over his father's place and wonder through space training and meet strong fighter, than King Cold decided to have another heir and that was Frieza himself. Cooler has been training this whole time in hopes of becoming the strongest.

Back in DBZ, one of the first things Goku told Gohan in the HTC was that they could get lost in there because it's an infinite realm. Perhaps Cooler wasn't warned about this and got lost while caught up in training?

That line was actually talked about a lot after the chapters release and many were already speculating Cooler, it's just that Toriyama writing never lives up to the fans hype so we'll just have to wait and see...

It would be nice if Cooler were to be, then we'd have a Cooler arc in DB Super. Having the Shredder (Cooler due to his final form) being the strongest in the universe would add sum spice. :D

i hear you and it definitly makes sense if DB wants to be taken into a new direction making cooler canon is the right way to go. and i like how you mentioned cooler has a different personality than freiza, what if when black freiza comes to finally put an end to goku and the saiyans (+anyone who oppose him) the battle wont just be against black freiza what if it'll also be against cooler aswell it's be a 2v2

This can really make sense as Frieza is kind of main villain so he could be the last villain of the series and people want to Frieza be killed by Vegeta but it is necessary to kill the last villain with the hands of Goku so if Vegeta beats Frieza and Goku beats cooler this could really be good.

If this happens, I feel it be a perfect match up for Goku and Vegeta. Vegeta needs to have a W against the being who has enslaved him for years and I though resurrection F was gonna give us that satisfaction, only for Goku to take the kill. If this happens, Goku can face off Cooler while Vegeta settles with Frieza. Seems like the perfect opportunity

Whenever you say “this ____ scene broke me” it makes me think that you’re getting your back blown out and broke your back lmaooo

I can think of a reason why cooler was in a hyperbolic time chamber. Cooler always appeared to be the older brother, what if cooler was somehow sent to this place in an attempt to usurp the throne by freiza? Freiza isn't one who'd share the throne. So I can see him trapping cooler in this void like space, which possibly they knew very little of at the time. But I guess if that was the case, why would cooler even bother training Frieza at this point?

No joke... Cooler being more of a warrior and training his whole life somewhere unknown has been a fan-fic of mine for years now. He´s my favourite villain in DB and I would love it if he was like Goku, an exception. He is not evil and more of a neutral frost demon ? That would be awesome. Espacially if he is one of those warriors that wants to fight fair and square.

The best potential story for Cooler would be that he was far stronger than Frieza and Cold so they both decided to capture him and put him away. Then many decades later Frieza decide to free his brother and train Cooler to become a Colden or even Black form. That would explain where Cooler has been the entire time, why we never saw him when Cold retired and made Frieza the new commander over the Saiyans and why we never saw him when Frieza and Cold went to Earth.

I swear the new strongest is gohan and no one wants to accept it

Frieza does not want a master. That's the point of his character. He didn't want King Cold revived for this reason. They'd have to be equals at least, but you can see with Frost he also doesn't want an equal. They'd be backstabbing each other. Or need a common goal.

It’s possible that the next arc after DBS Super Hero Arc might be Cooler Appearance in canon

Frieza haven't completed training yet. I kept wondering why he left Goku and Vegeta alive when he could've easily killed them. He seems to have gained a new attitude or perspective towards being the strongest like being emperor doesn't really matter anymore. Frieza knows Goku and Vegeta trains with the gods so he has seem to have made some sort of deal to train with a God or God equivalent to get stronger. He was merely testing his new power to see if where he might stand against beerus since he is the confirmed strongest

I think Whis was talking about Cell Max as the dragon ball super: supers arc comes after granolah. Cell Max was created after granolah, Toyotaro might change Cell Max for the new manga / anime arc.

Cooler was locked up in a specially made chamber capsule in regular time. Freezer went to a different universe to train in a Time chamber.

I’ve narrowed “the Strongest warrior” down to either Cooler, Dark Yamcha, Piccolo’s hand he lost before the ToP or Kale’s Mom.

I think it does make sense, considering he's been missing this entire time. There's also a theory of Cooler (specifically his quote on quote "black form")is stronger than Beerus and if that's the case, do you think he's been training for this entire time to surpass Beerus and become the strongest warrior across all the universes? What if that's his goal and once he makes an appearance , he would want to face Beerus because of it? That's my theory if we were to consider of Cooler's black form being stronger than Beerus and that he's been training since day 1. It's the most logical thing I could come up with. What do you think?

honestly if you wanna keep the grudge between cooler and frieza, but also say they trained together, say that they had the grudge whilst younger, but when they met again in the time chamber, just say their "training" was them in that time chamber realm literally just trying to kill eachother for 10 years and failing, but growing stronger as they kept fighting

I am pretty sure that at the current levels of power the characters possess being stuck in the chamber is nothing, They can easily break out with negative difficulty. I don't think the saiyans will ever stop growing stronger.

It would make decent sense. Cooler’s entire everything is “I AM THE STRONGEST IN THE UNIVERSE” so if he brings him back, it would be the same form of canonic introduction that broly received. But him quite literally being the strongest warrior in the universe. My personal theory is that cooler was exiled or sealed by their family, for being too strong or purposely stayed in the chamber as the ultimate weapon to one day exit such as this. Same as broly. I think he’ll be the actual insane rage without the humility that broly has. But without anyone’s knowledge. I think it’ll be cooler and frieza, vs goku/vegeta + broly/granolah. Toriyama has already stated he will bring back three of the main evil characters, cell was one of them in cell max. We have yet to see the other two. Which I believe will be boujack and cooler. It could also be boujack however and not cooler. Boujack was actually sealed in a different dimension. Such as where this time chamber would be. But maybe he can’t leave that dimension/time chamber again under being sealed. So he could really spin this either way.

I would love to see cooler in the story its gonna be awesome!

I doubt Cooler was in the chamber since before Dragon ball 3:20 cause that would mean he would need to be in that chamber for close to 50years. 50 years of real world training Converted to time chamber training would equal 18,262 YEARS of training. since 1 min = 6hrs 5mins 15seconds normally. With Frieza Race being what it is I highly doubt a being of his race having 18,262 Years worth of training would be anything but above every god of Destruction, Jirin and angels combined in power. Not just the strongest in the universe but close to being on Par with either the grand Priest or Omni King themselves.

So, I doubt Cooler told him. Now it may not be Immortality for Cooler but simply we really dont know how Long the Life span are for Frieza Race they could be beings that can last for 10s of thousands of years, but likely dont because of how Violent they are. That still makes me point even more so evident if this chamber does do that......10yrs in a few days....50yrs worth of training.....Cooler would probably bitch slap Whiz.

Perhaps he is referring to Uub's latent Majin potential? I know it sounds crazy, but for some reason I feel like Uub is too cool and unique to be forgotten, and I think the DragonBall writing squaad feel the same way for some reason. I feel like he would be very good for the brand image of the franchise, considering he's basically the only brown skinned protagonist we've seen since maybe Nam in OG DragonBall, and those kind of factors are usually good things to base predictions on.

Cooler's character (like Broly's has finally been) should have been made canonical (waaayyyyy b4 now) tbh here... He's just got way to much potential to expand the DB- universes (canonical) lore, then just to leave him hanging in limbo like this....

I was actually thinking of this today.. I seen a DBS Dragon Stars action figure of cooler and was confused by it.. he isn't canon to DBZ let alone DBS so why was it made? Maybe he's going to be made canon or at least the idea of it is on the table.
