Do you need a MC number to dispatch? When you call to book a load and you don't have a MC number, do you give them the MC number of the carrier you are dispatching?

When it comes to trying to do sprinter vans or box trucks you can use DAT or FMCSA to contact brokers

Thanks for video. In this example you were looking to book a driver who had 22 hrs remaining. The first load you were looking at would only take about half of his 22 hrs. Would the driver prefer a load that would take up more of the 22 hrs or would they prefer leave those hours open? The 2nd load was 200 miles with 149 mile deadhead. Would the rate be divided by 200 or 349? I have another question if you don't mind. 🙂 I am trying to research load boards to make a decision on whether I want to quit my current job and business. How can I search these boards to see what I could expect load wise for the types of vehicles I am thinking about driving? Thank you if you answered these bothersome questions. 👍

Yes! The brokers typically type it in the “notes” section of the load. So read everything once you click on it. Sometimes the post ID isn’t there so just ask about the pickup and dropoff city

Would you suggest adding DH-O miles to trip miles for fuel expenses? Cause the DH-O said 149 which means thats the distance to pickup so a driver is waisting fuel on the way and if thats the case the rate would be 2.6

Nope, they like to “adjust” the rate confirmation if you’re late, etc and deduct hundreds sometimes

@@chocolatebutterfly9295 i thought it was illegal and definitely morally wrong. A guy, I think his name is Malachai or something that like that, was just sentenced to jail for doing just that. He was a freight agent that decided to not pay the broker nor the carrier.

So after completing a load on DATOne load board, the payment for completing the load comes from the company that you completed the load for ? Like for example say I completed a load for $955 would I be able to cash out the mom immediately or how does that work ?

It’s when the driver has a truck most likely a diesel (ex. Ram 2500) with a flat bed trailer attached. The trailers vary in sizes.

Just to clarify do you mean Independent drivers who own their own truck & authority & who aren’t leased under mega carriers?

Once we feel comfortable and or risky enough to try based on your videos, do we go for it, or do we need a certification of some sort and how do we set up the contract with the driver for payment.

You don't need a certification to dispatch. You also need a carrier - dispatch package which should include payment agreement along with a 1099. You can google that information or ask some carriers
