Circuit board repair is a lost art in today's disposable world. Truly mind-blowing how many complete boards are thrown out due to one component or a bad solder joint.

Thank you so much for showing this wonderful video. A home computer is not bumped around like a Class 8 going down the road. Like he said the NONE lead solder get brittle, cracks. The US water systems put a END to Lead based solder, So you have a mix with the Lead base. What this Friend does in his business in my book A+. Such a little component, that causes so mean headache to Class 8 truckers. Very interesting and neat CNC chip removal system without damage to board. Your video is very informative

But it's strange how the trucking world is now reliant on small chips like this. Great job 👍

It ain't hard to keep your frame clean. Don't over grease your 5th wheel and drop your airbags when you go under a trailer. Then air them up when your under. Reduced the amount of grease scraped off by the trailer. When you drop your trailer. Leave bout an inch gap under the pads. Then dump your bags to let the trailer down gently.

I finished up with school a couple of weeks ago and one thing that we were taught is if the truck is equipped with air bags was to release the air to lower the 5th wheel plate while coupling. Back up just enough to get the kingpin into the slot before the jaws then add air to bags to raise then back up to couple. This will keep more grease between apron and surface of the 5th wheel. I guess it would work with a spring truck just need to lift and lower the trailer if applicable. Just one of the many things I learned in school. Great video!

Try applying grease to the trailer skid plate rather than the fifth wheel. More grease will stay where it’s needed instead of being scraped off as when applied to fifth wheel.

..... And then you go to a company where every driver cranks the legs all the way down and you run over the top of the fifth wheel plate and the kingpin gets hung up on the front part of the fifth wheel have fun figuring that one out.

Next level SMD repair there. Cost of a truck going down to a bad repair is too high, plus the long-term abuse & vibrations require an excellent repair. So I understand why all the expensive equipment is used here. Superb.

Doing reballing and component level repair for phone boards, laptops, and anything where replacement cost is just outrageous it's still a very viable industry. That guy should try expanding into some different fields like repairing tuners his machine is amazing if you're doing Mac repairs
