Freeze Panes in Excel, so Rows and Columns Always Remain Visible!

If you need to see the top row of an Excel spreadsheet while viewing the bottom rows at the same time, then you need to Freeze Panes. In this video, I demonstrate how to freeze the top row, the first column, and any area in between! If you use Excel, then knowing how to Freezing Panes is a must-have skill.     What about freezing a row or two on the bottom as well as the top?

    Great question. I don't know of a specific Excel option for freezing BOTH the top and bottom row at the same time. That said, if you google it, you'll find some workarounds that are effective. For example, you can open the same sheet twice, arrange the two windows horizontally, and then freeze the top rows in the top window and the bottom rows in the bottom window. Another option is to create a table for your data, and then in the VIEW menu use the SPLIT option to freeze the bottom rows. So, you have some options.

    Well, duh. But many people want to freeze panes in Excel and don't know how. This video helps those people. That's my goal...to help people :)
