Thank you so much! I love the challenge of the F-14 but it’s also not a hard jet to fly once it’s dialed in. Btw I love German made airframes (F5D pylon racers) but it’s too bad some companies don’t ship to Canada 😩 and if they do it’s sooo pricey!

Here in Australia, I am tempted to risk my hard earned by ordering one of these sight unseen.

The motors on this frame are upgraded to 1920kv but the new 2100kv motors makes this fly even better 😎

I have one of these, but havent been brave enough to fly it yet. How easy was the motor upgrade, could you put a link to the motors you used please. But what Id really like to know is where (what looks like) a rubber road came from, as my biggest issue is lack of smooth runway. Great vid, very cool flying

You definitely need a smooth runway or you’ll be damaging retracts, occasionally miss the runway but I would fly off complete grass. Our club had geotex fabric as the runway. The motor upgrade is easy you can either buy the complete fan and motor and all you do it connect the esc wires. It’s the same reason I didn’t get this over a year ago when I wanted it. So many forums out there makes it look so complicated to setup when it really isn’t. I’ve proven it can be done with a 6ch radio and rx. Just move the servo horns so it’s has very small throws or just make it tailerons only.

Nicely done. Successfully flying a 7ch plane on a 6ch TX is what this hobby is all about. :) BTW, where abouts is your flying club?

Thanks!! But I’m not that good;) Ive been flying for quite a while but I’d say the biggest thing is practice and be a lil daring. Don’t be scared of trying something different, an old rc flyer once told me “those that don’t crash don’t fly”🙃

Yes I know about that and tried for hrs to utilize it for the swept wing function it just wouldn’t work but I’ll try with a 8ch rx and maybe that would do it, as I was using the 6ch rx

I was thinking about that or just remove the gear but i think it will be impossible to handlaunch this even without the weight that comes with the gear and all the stuff bound to it but since i have no field close, i need to drive and there is no way to fit this jet into my car so i go with the little e-flite F-14 XD

It’s such a nice jet to remove the gears and belly land. My car is small as well but with the wings swept back and rudders taken off it fits in the passenger seat. Good luck

Did you realize that you are taking high risk whilst flying the RCJ so close to the high voltage power line. What will happen if the RCJ crashed to them?
