The reason most people tuned in is simple; EVERYONE thought this was going to be a series follow up to 100 keys, The story of Freeway Ric. I agree with what he said about the series becoming "Cartoonish" and at that point I, and many chose to tune out.

He is confused. He thinks people are even remotely as interested in his life as they are in just being entertained. The only interest in his life people have is to the extent it entertains them.

The funniest part was when Gerome was listening to the rap tape and the dude was rapping about everything they were doing in the hood. Jerome was the best character IMO.

The show was very real. Like u said they won't dealing with 5 keys. They was pushing units bruh lol. The show is based on the character, not his whole life. I fuck with Ross but bruh hating. I get it. The plan was to get with singleton and put it together his life story But we don't know if buddy was trying to get stupid bread to be a part of it. I love the show. Top 5 all time.

Damn hearing him speak on this is like damn.. Why couldnt they have just got some real details from him or ppl from that era... Still a good show the Finale was the best Finale ive ever seen in a show.

I thought they expanded to Arkansas only to avoid the surrounding areas that Freeway expanded to like Texas & a few others. But then they said it was also based off Waterhead Bo and Daniels used his childhood friends in LA to avoid similarities in Rick’s friends and associates but it’s obvious who a square dude like Franklin is supposed to be based off of. Big difference was Rick didn’t believe in violence and they made Franklin embrace it for show purposes.
