It was summer of 1993. I meet a girl she was listing to freestyle music hanging out of her bedroom window.I had never heard this music. We both said what's up to each other. We became friends that day and never stop talking. She passed away summer of 1995 along with another friend. So everytime I hear freestyle it takes me back in time when to Friday nights dancing and just hanging out Best times in my life. Rest In Peace🙏 Doreen and Jojo 🙏 I'll see you again one day

At a young 53 yrs old, (HA) this remix brings it all right back, underground clubs in NYC, hideouts in Brooklyn, wide open on the water clubs in Long Island, we rocked them all, not to mention all the block parties and feasts in Bensonhurst Brooklyn we used for practicing our dance moves! So many other Freestyle Jams was what our life style was, a classic lifestyle that no other generation will EVER experience. What a different and amazing time! Tony Jem.

Block parties… closing the whole block down, every neighbor was outside, hanging out. How many people nowadays even know who their neighbors are? Sorry but this day and age sucks. I’d give anything to go back to those times.

This Era of Music was not just fun but actually more meaningful! Most music around the 80$,90$ & early 2000$ was & still on Fire!! 😃

OMG, this brings back many great memories as a teen hanging out by my cousins swimming pool listening to the exact same tracks. Everyone got along, the music wasn't violent or vulgar, house parties were safe and everyone was united! I would love to back for one day to live those happy times.! Junito thank you so much for taking me back to a time in my life that was SO HAPPY AND CAREFREE!! I was 22yo and serving in the US Navy which was almost a non-stop party!! My buddies and I hit those dance clubs nightly and had a ball together! Sadly several of my buddies are no longer with us. As I am typing this message to you I am almost in tears because I REALLY MISS this time in my life. Life was so much simpler and much safer for us (Even in Chicago). OMG man you will NEVER know how much you made me happier! Keep up the awesome work and mixing it up remaking these great hits! Love you man!!

I went to the Marine corps when I was 17 and a half I convinced my grandparents to sign me over to the Marine corps and all the time that I had hard times especially with desert Storm Persian Gulf war I put on my headphones and listen to this and it was like if it put me in a time capsule when I was at parties with my uncle's and aunts to this day I still listen to this

Also here in Los Angeles with the Mexican community. All the clubs and house parties were playing freestyle and the girls had big hair and the guys had pony tails with those pointy shoes. Me myself i was a gangster (unfortunately) but me and the homies will crash the parties (un invited) take the beers food and start dancing with their daughters who were starring at us from a distance hoping we would ask them to dance. Either the adults thought we were related to them some how or were afraid to kick us out because it was our territory. I was only 15 but my homies were in their 20s. Fun times

100% so many memories from my first kiss to breakdancing, skating at the rink on weekends many good times set to this music. So glad I grew up in these times! kids today will never experience so many things we were lucky enough to. When there older there gonna hear a song from when they were young and instead of all the great memories we have there gonna be like yo you remember this song from Grand theft auto. 🤣

I can’t stop typing I gotta share the great times with people who never experienced the late 80’s early 90’s. We didn’t have computers or cell phones or social media and the last thing we were concerned with was politics. We just danced,drank and hooked up. Summer days and nights were the greatest.
