In this 80Milimetre episode Timmy Vanilli and videomaker Niels Groenendijk pay a visit to beautiful Amsterdam. They meet up with Holland’s finest: Dick Heerkens, who normally knows his way around on skates. He probably took his Dutch powerfood a bit to late…
Neide Khan, a Dutch fashionista and girlfriend of Timmy, joins the crew. She puts on a pair of Rollerblade® Twisters and gives them a try, not bad to be featured in 80 Milimitre when you’re a first time inline skater.
Watch the crew cruising through Vondelpark in the middle of Amsterdam. Dropping in from a bank at the Eye Film Museum Uptown Amsterdam and over canals in the city centre. Feel free to enjoy Amsterdam on skates; with perfect bike lines, nice architecture, canals on your left and right handside and of course a fine beverage to top it all of.

I`m freeskating for 5 months now.I remember the time when I was watching these kind of films and couldn`t do much tricks like the skaters on the film.Now after these 4 months I`m watching Freeskate in Amsterdam and I know that I can ride the same way.Feels so good. :D

masz bardzo cięzki angielski,ale podejrzewam,ze chodzi ci o hamowanie metodą "T" :P Wpisz tutaj jak hamować metodą T i znajdziesz podstawowe instrukcje,a dalej to juz tylko trening,tłumaczenia praktyki nie zastąpią :)

***** know your limits and dont rush to fast :P start high jumps or other tricks only when you feel sure enough to do them////////// I`m 18 now,17 at that time 8) but I used to skate almost every day for 3-7hours :D

I think NL is ideal in general, I never realized how good (and skate-suitable!) our infrastructure was until I moved.
Guys this video was amazing, but one thing you need to consider is your safety first, always water protection even though you are professionals, at lest advise the aspiring skaters to do so.

different bearing for different wheels. If you're a beginner, you should get fitness skates with 76-80mm wheels and SG5 bearings.

I'm sure I'm kinda late to answer, but in my experience the skate is not that relevant to the surface. Just practice riding on different surfaces a lot, improve your balance and stability and you should do fine on almost anything.

I’m definitely late to answer, but it depends what your aiming to do, I do rollerhockey indoors, so I tend to buy ice skates with Hilo frames, like my current pair are Bauer Vapor XR300, but I’m looking at Mission Inhaler FZ-1. But yeah depends what your aiming to do, if you want to do what these guys are doing, id recommend getting high support and armoured skates

That 1:10 looks painfull, last sunday i was skating with my girl and i had no better idea than to do the crane kick stance from Karate Kid for like 10 straight seconds. Well, I went down and now my ass hurts as hell.
