Very helpful video. Thanks! Could you also share a picture of how it’s blocked while it’s opened? In other words can you fold it to the top and block it while it’s opened? Or is it meant to be taken completely out ? Thanks!

Hi,it has to be taken completely off when not being used and doesn’t fold back like a soft top,hope this answers your question,thanks for watching and your comment
Nice! I will look for one tomorrow that I found on the internet. What worries me is the time it takes to put it on. I intended to put it only in case of unexpected rain (just at the moment)...

I was given it and it had never been out its bag until I put it on our freelander,they do come up for sale occasionally on eBay or Facebook marketplace
Found this vid after chatting to someone today on twitter about Freelanders, he stress tested them for their air bags it seems. My mum had one and hers had this same rain cover. I went camping with the car one time and left the roof back at home so we had to use this in anger. Recall it being a sod to get on and the corners would pop off easily. Shame it didn't have a perspex window either as I am not sure if you can legally drive with this on with it reducing visibility.

Driving with it on is perfectly legal as long as you have door mirrors,same as a van etc

Just keep looking on line,eBay,Facebook marketplace etc ,they do come up,I didn’t pay much money for this rain cover and it has never been used until I put it on car in video
I have an original canvas bag for that top.

When we took it out the bag was fun as it was stick inside as not been used before

Unfortunately this is just a copy of the original, it was available a long time ago on a UK website but I assume it was made in china.

This is a genuine landrover product not a copy
