Interesting... Don't know anything about air boats... But it appears most builds are with v8 car engines... Got me to thinking... Has anyone ever put a 18 cyl. Pratt & Whitney Radial engine in one of these things? Those engines were used in WWII Bent wing Corsair airplanes... If memory serves, they developed something like 2200hp... That would give you ALL the horsetorques...
