It is best for blacks from that part of Africa, the Sahel region. I believe that northern core part of Nigeria will not hesitate to be part of this alliance. However, the middle belt and the entire southern Nigeria has no connection and will never have anything to do with people from the Sahel area. Nevertheless, we wish them all the best.

That is to you.Have you also consider the disadvantages you gain when you break away from ECOWAS. The sahel region is highly dependant on the sub Sahara region which is ECOWAS bound .we live to see

These three, relatively young leaders, the so-called "military juntas" from the so called "poorest nations" have become the light to dispel the darkness of economic suffering. Let Ecowas, and other African regional bodies and AU itself sit down to listen and learn from these leaders about what Africans need their leaders to do and follow this example, before the Genzs begin to demand their exit if no demise.

I m a Liberian living in the USA. I m so proud of these 3 guys. ECOWAS is infiltrated by the West.....it doesn't serve the purpose it was founded for anymore. Reason: ECOWAS formed ECOMOG to thwart Taylor effort from being president only because Taylor is a Panafricanist and had Kaddaffi ties. Through ECOWAS, lots of factions were created. ULIMO K, J, and LPC,. ECOWAS is willing to send troops to battle any regime, which is not Western friendly in the name of 'SO-CALL DEMOCRACY '. So, ECOWAS has to be rebranded to be more Panafrican.
