These videos were taken while snorkeling around a small reef just off of Polo Beach in Maui Hawaii. I used a Gopro 3+ silver attached to a DIY underwater rig with handles to stabilized the shot while swimming and a gorilla pod attached to the bottom so I could position the camera on the reef to get some close up shots. I also used a backscatter shallow filter 5-25 ft to help with color correction. I only put on the filter when diving below around 10 feet where the color was much more blue. I also used final cut Pro X to help more with the color correction. There were an amazing amount of turtles swimming around in this one spot. They were very friendly and didn't seem to mind my presence so I was able to swim very close to them. All in all a very cool experience.
