Freediving in Honaunau Bay, Kona, Hawaii

A freediver's paradise with spinner dolphins, white tipped reef sharks, sea turtles, and yellow tang. Props to my safety diver /dolphin whisperer Steffen. The woman you see waving at 0:35 is my 70 year old adventurous grandmother who gets in the sea nearly every day. She joined me for the clip with the reef sharks!

Love it. Probably top 5 places to freedive on the planet. Video makes me miss it even more. It has a magic to it. Thanks

Oh, it's incredible. I could dive here every day and never grow tired of it! Hope you get a chance to dive there again soon :)

Awww, I remember 2012, when I was kicked out from YWAM for freediving too much! Paradise Earth! I bought a speargun, and ate so much fish! :D Even caught a murray eel, and an octopus! I was almost eaten by a shark there when I was 9. :/ Man, if only I`d been born in the states!!! (I`m from Norway)

Haha, yes! AKA makeshift freediving buoy ;). It's really nice to rest on for the safety and the freediver. If you attach a drawstring bag to it you could also keep water on it.
