I love when people say they're not a fan of Warframe then talk about how fun bunny is. If you don't like WF, I can't see how you're going to like this. The build systems, farming/end game loop, mods, game modes are all direct cross over from WF. This is a slower paced WF with much less melee.

My reason for not liking warframe is extremely different than anyone else who doesn’t like wareframe because my reason isn’t because of gameplay or mechanics or anything like that. I know I’m weird 😂 I simply don’t like the universe, I don’t like the way the world looks or how the enemies look. It’s the same thing with ESO for me. To a lot of people it’s an amazing MMO and I love MMO’s but I hate the way the characters look, the world and the enemies. So I just choose not to play it.

The last time i played (like a year ago?) i had too many issues with the core gameplay loop and missing social features. The open-world felt so empty too, i will wait what they deliver with the full release tho. Us looter shooter enthusiasts are hungry for a new great game to sink our teeth into, so i really root for this game overall!

Exactly! I felt the same way when I played the beta almost a year back. World was super empty, not sure about social though since I didn't really try and interact with others lol Yes! super hungry for a looter shooter with a great story and huge amounts of replay-ability with a never seen before universe. I'm here for it and am excited for July 2nd!

If you are looking for wall to wall mobs Go play a diablo like game a r p g genre, I for one don't want so many mobs you can't get a second to look and see where you are.

I actually love games like Diablo and path of exile 2 coming out real soon. So super excited for that. But I don’t mind having less mobs specially since this isn’t a top down game. It’ll be more like the division series with ScFi in the mix.

Ngl brodie, your first concern is silly, getting materials from a hard encounter has been a thing for a decade now, you have the direct comparison with warframe but also new MMOs like lost ark or throne and liberty. This system works fine.

You know what’s funny lol I felt like my concern for the materials was silly while making the video 😂😂 so yes your definitely right about that system working fine but I think I’m just more on the side of receiving weapons and gear with materials instead of materials alone. More like how Destiny does it. I just feel like I would appreciate that Boss grind even more.

@@MercifulKev I feel you, ye the reward is instant. Here you will have to wait hours for the crafting to be done which can be very annoying, but its one of their ways to milk some money so it is what it is 😂

Well lets hypothesize the idea of being able to buy said material or a way to craft the material faster by using money... ok well guess what will almost certainly happen. The game has some fun points but some stuff made not fun or a pain just to sell convenience.

Right!! After almost a year since the open beta 😩

Some games will have you getting parts from bosses to build weapons, and in TFD is gonna be to research the weapons probably. I think is a good system. Technically you get a weapon drop. Just have to build it.

Yea I get it and I know that this system works well but me personally I rather immediately receive weapons from bosses and materials the way the division and destiny does it. That’s just me though.

I don't know if I'm ready for another game that has a dang battle pass. It seems like every game no matter if it's free to play or you got to pay real money. There's a battle pass. Just cheapens the whole thing.

I personally love battle passes 😂 it’s something that is outside of the normal loot unlocks in the game. They always have themes that give you items that become rare overtime. Also they’re usually only 10 bucks. To me they are like sprinkles on top 😂

Maybe i didn't get very far into the beta but i never found a reason to make a build, no challenge. Was it a cool looking game sure. Was it fun playing missions or the patrols no. The wave based mode was ok the boss fights were awesome but i don't wanna farm boring content to play the boss fights.

I definitely get what you’re saying but if we only go off of the beta then we for sure have a crappy game 😂 with what the developers are saying is coming sounds very promising. July 2nd is almost here so let’s see 🤷🏽‍♂️

I really wanna get excited about this game but I've been burnt so many times and until I know about how the economy in this game works I'm gonna stay on the fence.

Very fair since yes us as gamers have been burnt so many times but if we are being given some solid evidence of a good game then it’s fair to remain optimistic. All we can do is wait for the game to come out and see how it is. If it’s trash all we can hope for then is for the devs to make the necessary changes. Let’s see July 2nd 🤷🏽‍♂️

Here's the thing...I'm a rusted on Warframe player, I've played tons of Division and Destiny, I plan on playing this at launch, even though I missed the most recent beta test. That said...this game tries hard to be an amalgamation of all looter shooter trends...and doesn't seem too good at any of them. It tries too hard to stick to a formula, take "inspiration" from established titles, and ends up not forging its own path in any way at all. Outside of pretty waifus and husbandos, and there's enough of those type games as it is. As well, you mentioned Destiny and Division stories being top tier...I'm here to tell you...not even close. Both of those games have decent themes and concepts, but MOST of the major story beats have been removed, they're no longer playable and what is currently there is bare bones and offers nothing to really latch onto. I get that you're not into materials and crafting as rewards for things, but Warframe's story completely destroys Division and Destiny, and that game realized a lot of problems about loot, inventory, and reward structures that Division, Destiny and seems like First Descendant refuse to accept. Filling my slots with trash and needing to empty it over and over sucks, and never realize how important player trading is to ensure people have an ability to either speed up a farm or turn their valuable items they don't need into other items they do need. Like I said, I'll be playing this at launch to see how it holds up, but despite not being a fan of Warframe and thinking the story isn't good (I assume you haven't gotten to the good parts yet, and the early game is sped up considerably now), I'd highly recommend digging deeper into that game if this one doesn't hold interest. It's been around 11 years (which is one year longer than Destiny) for good reason.

@RedShadowOfSaturn Ok so finally made it home lol here is my in depth response. I can agree in a sense that this game tries to take alot from other established games instead of forging its own path head strong. But at the end of the day, it is a looter shooter and there's not much more we can expect. Maybe Nexon isn't the studio to innovate this genre as of yet but this game is worth checking out at launch for sure as you said. I don't think I agree about Division and Destiny stores not being top tier. It maybe I'm more easily satisfied than most people when it comes to gaming stories lol I do truly believe that these two games in a tv series or movie would break records if produced correctly. Now with Warframe, I've probably played like 5 min of the game. I have nothing against Wareframe other than how it looks. I don't like the world, or how the enemies look but thats just me lol It just doesn't intrigue me. I'm sure the rewards, level structure, story, and system for gathering loot and materials is amazing. I just never got deep enough in that game to know it. Now I definitely agree with player trading. That should have been in both Division and Destiny. As someone who doesnt enhoy PvP i camt wait for this game. I just hope you can easiky matchmake amd not have to be on comms if you dont want to.

I’m definitely a PVP person but I have my moments where I just want to relax and enjoy running through enemies with friends or randoms without comms lol so definitely excited for this. I believe match making will be like the division so we should be fine. When I did the boss fights in the beta I matched with randoms perfectly fine.

@MercifulKev sounds good. I think eventually they will add PVP and maybe that time I'll be good at it and can compete. Mainly first person PVP I am not into. Roll on 2md June. Heck I'm happy to spend money on it to support the developers if it's decent

My biggest concern is build variety. Each descendant have the skills that they have and that's it, hopefully runes can change them drastically. And p2w, of course. I don't support any p2w games so it will be unfortunate if the put that in this game.

I’m not as concerned about variety because they’re so many descendants with different abilities and they will continue to add more. One of the main points of the game is too collect as many descendants as you can. Also you have to keep in mind that there are different weapon types that go along perfectly with different descendants’ abilities. Yea if p2w is in the game that will just ruin everything but let’s see how it will be since it’s a PvE only game.

@MercifulKev yea, I like skill based builds better. I'm not a fan of gun centered builds. You know, get better stuff and your gun does more damage. I like... now ice bolt shoots 3 shards rather than one or ice bolt can chain freeze. I love warframe, but I tend to invest in 1 or 2 frames and I'm going to do the same here. That's why build variety is a concern. If I want to switch it up I don't want to have to level every class in the game. Just my opinion

Ok yea I see what you’re saying here. Like in Destiny you have the option of creating builds based your abilities and weapons is a bonus so yea I def hope that we can build skill focused builds in this game instead of just focusing on weapons. Let’s see July 2nd!

There is no p2w in TFD. Maybe pay2fast but not p2w. You dont need to be faster then someone with p2f. Just enjoy your journey.

@@MercifulKev oh I am sure the game is will be good. I’ve been playing since the first beta where grappling barely worked and was stiff af and the guns sounded like toy guns🤣. The dev team is one of the best I’ve seen in a while. They actually listen and improve based on what the players ask for on a regular. Even the dye system you mentioned is already fixed less RNG and annoying (since we collectively complained about it). It’s just I’ll never feel safe knowing that Nexon is still the publisher even though the dev team are a great bunch.

Yea I played since the first beta as well and even with all those little things you mentioned I had a lot of fun 😂 I mainly had the most fun playing bunny chaining lightening everywhere 😂 but yea if they can continue to listen to the community and make quick changes the game will be super amazing and enjoyable. Same way Ubisoft is listening to the community very quickly with xdefiant.

Are you telling me or are you saying that you yourself care more about the gameplay than the story? I definitely care way more about the gameplay than story but a good story submerges you more into the game which is a huge plus. You end up caring more about the characters and are playing more than just for fun. That’s me though 😂
