Free Throw - Two Beers In
Those Days Are Gone
by Free Throw
freethrowemo.bandcamp.com
Lyrics:
Two beers in,
Already feels like it’s one of those nights to forget.
The more that I drink the more that I feel broken and alone
At a party with friends.
F*ck everything about this.
You walk in with the new boyfriend you met just last week.
His big grin.
He doesn’t know that you’ll leave him so broken and alone
When it comes to an end
F*ck everything about him.
Two beers in,
Already feels like it’s one of those nights to forget.
The more that I drink the more that I feel broken and alone.

Ya'll every just have two beers? Actually the perfect amount of beers to enjoy. Until it feels like it's one of those nights
A local radio played this on Sunday as a, "Sober up," song. The FM frequency was slightly static-induced and it was glorious as I was fighting my latest hangover. Thank you, Free Throw for the glory of Sundays mornings, migraines, running to the grocery store to recover, and remembering that it's best to forget the night before.

you guys popped up on my Spotify discover weekly playlist yesterday. I can't even begin to explain how many times I've replayed this song. it's so simple, yet it hits so close to home at the most fucked up my life has been. 25, shitty job, broke up with the love of my life after 5 years, 7 months ago, trying to date, trying to cope with depression, this has made things easier in a certain way. thank you from the bottom of my heart, honestly.

This very song introduced me to math rock, midwest emo, and a bunch of other genres as well as bands that i adore like modern baseball, sleepy dog, dingus., sorority noise, mom jeans and more. Thanks for posting this all those years ago man because it has really helped me out in some bad times and makes me feel better overall. Keep on posting all this great music.

True story, I found this song while looking for the stone cold Steve Austin sound sample of one beer, two beers, three beers..but holy shit this is amazing!!!
I remember a local band played this in a basement show in a collage town where I’m from about a year ago. A lot of people didn’t seem to know it but those who did went absolutely insane including me. Screaming this song in a crowded room full of your favorite people will never not feel fucking amazing.

Dated a guy named Sabino who showed me this band and this song always brings me back to drunk nights with white castle beer pong and drives. Miss him! Love this song always will jam to it.
Randomly finding this in an emo mix list, at 3am, in a severe depression bout. It's a good song, but I just started looping it once I heard it.
Been coming back to this song for years now.
Went to a concert in Oklahoma a fat minute ago for you guys and inner wave, we screamed for this song and you guys delivered and we even tried chanting “encore”, hope you guys are getting the growth you deserve!
Currently addicted to this song😭💯
I've never felt a song so true to my feelings in the now. I wish I was brave enough to let myself go, on my own terms. One can only try and try. Fuck everything.
Finally saw Free Throw live on the weekend, and it was amazing. They ended their set with this and the energy was electric!
God, I love this song…I love this genre, so many masterpieces like this, some have you laughing your ass off and some have you tear up, I can’t believe this is something that someone made
How does this not have 1,000,000 plays yet????
favorite song right now for sure
I've had a lot of nights lately that feel like ones to forget, thinking about how things are over with someone I could have seen myself spending the rest of my life with.
Super simple and killer song, replay 5 times each listen.

One of the best songs I've ever listened to
weird how depressing music makes you feel better when you're depressed
I don't even like beer but this SLAPS!
I love this song. The lyrics are so good and relatable, yet simple.
Saw these guys twice at Bled Fest (RIP). They had great energy both times :). Felt like I was with family.
This the song i didnt know I needed
Saw and met them in kc at the rino, super down to earth people making great music. Crowd went crazy on this song
My friend showed me this song one of the most beautiful people in the fucking world
this band is way to fucking underrated, deserves way more credit
Whatever the trouble is, the big shouts of FUUUUUUUUUUUCK EVERYTHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING are such a mood...
i like to listen to this while I'm having a mental breakdown
seeing them play this live during FEST this weekend was just so good. I'm so fucking glad I did cause it was just so good
Listening to this while depressed and eating pizza hopefully it gets better
I love it makes me feel horrible as good music should
felt like this band and song in particular has been with me my whole life but nope only a few months, amazing tho
2 mins and 15 secs of immediate crying.
I'm listening this while 2 beers in and eating chow mein
Story Time: So I was about to buy a house with my soon to be wife and my cosigner (uncle) backed out. So now I'm down about 12 Grand, and I have three weeks until my landlord replaces me (I put my notice in earlier in the month), and man I know things get better but I'm about 5 beers In. Hope I can look back on this shit and laugh eventually but fuck man. Hope everyone can get better and feel better. Definitely hope that for myself. This music helps a lot.
