Love your free pattern videos Alexandra. I’ve made 3 dresses (4 really because I made the Rooney patterns slip dress but didn’t like it on me so I took it to bits and made the Peppermint Magazines Bardon dress instead ) 🤷‍♀️😂 I’m done with gathers for at least a year now! 🤯 Hope you’re feeling better soon 💞

I think that’s the biggest most annoying thing about sewing is that sometimes you make something but it just doesn’t look great on your body, I have been there many times, but it’s sounds like you managed to upcycle it which is great. Thank you for watching Sharon! Xxx

This dress has not been available for some time ..fortunately I downloaded it last year ...it makes the most amazing dress .. I did however do a FBA and put 2 fish darts in the back ..

I did the Barcelona as a shirt and was not too impressed. I want to give it another try with some edits to the pattern though. Because I do think it could be a staple, I just need to adjust it to my body shape.

Live your blouse. On Barcelona... no V neck and I need sleeves to my elbows. Sorry Luv... looking for more for those of us whose arms no long look like we are still 20. Bi-lat dislocated shoulders make arm exercises painful and difficult.

This is on their newest pattern "Samford Set": Here at Peppermint, we’re passionate about all things craft, creativity and community, which is why we’ve invested so much into our gorgeous free sewing patterns over the years! We’ve been giving away our patterns to everyone for free for many years now, and wish that we could continue to do so. But producing these patterns (including paying patternmakers a fair wage, as well as the ongoing promotional, creative and logistical costs) is costly and as a small business with rising expenses, we now need to charge a small amount to continue our work.

I can sew but since I am older I prefer easy and simple, if possible.

Hello, I just wanted to say I learned how to sew about 2 years ago. I made a couple of bags, but I attempted making a pair of pants and lost my motivation since the pattern was too intimidating. I took a break from sewing for a few months yet these patterns all really caught my eye. I found motivation to start again and make myself something cute! Thank you so much for making this video and I hope you make more of them in the future. Also your voice was so sooting and relaxing to listen to. 💗🫶🥹
