FREE PATTERN ~ How to Sew a Tiny Foldover Pouch | learn to sew | beginner | sewing tutorial

In this beginner friendly video tutorial you will learn how to sew these super adorable Tiny Foldover Pouches.
Finished size: 3'' wide x 3 1/4'' tall x 1'' deep
approx. 8cm x 9cm x 2cm
Cutting instructions in cm (measurements in inches are provided in the video):
2 main panels, 2 linings, 2 interfacing panels - all panels are 13cm wide x 15cm tall
Cut 1cm squares along each bottom corner and use 5mm seam allowance.

I'm using my Juki TL2000 Qi sewing machine in this tutorial.

    This is such a lovely little pouch. However, I've seen you cut your 1/2" corners but, by the time you've sewn the seam down the side and the base, what measurement is the actual corner, please? Personally, I always mark the corners after I've sewn the seams and can then measure from the seam line, therefore getting the measurements I'm wanting. Thanks

    I measured my phone, added a bit extra then seam allowance and the inch for the flap, with hindsight I should have made the flap bigger but other than that it worked.
